Alps Lakeview Lodge

We stayed in an apartment for 3 nights. Absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains beyond, just beautiful. Very tranquil atmosphere in the lodge and in East Jindabyne generally - not for the party hard crowd. We really appreciated the provision of a plunger and real coffee. The kitchen was well equipped enough for us to turn out a decent dinner. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable, as apparently was the day bed/couch which converted to a huge king size bed at night. It was very hot when we were there and the west facing windows (which would be a beautiful view of the sunset in the cooler weather) took a pounding from the sun and it was extremely inside for a few hours each evening. This is simple accomodation, not luxurious, but stylish and thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay and would very happily visit again.
