Wolf Cabin at Wilderness Wind, Ely, MN

Wolf Cabin is Wilderness Wind's smallest and most secluded cabin near the shore of Armstrong Lake. This adorable one bedroom cabin with kitchenette and kitchen table is at the end of the road and is quiet and private but has access to all the amenities of the Wilderness Wind resort. The kitchen sink has a water cooler to be filled from outdoor spigot and a half refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave. Hot showers, lavatory sinks, and latrine toilets are a short walk though lovely birch woods, in the bathhouse. Down the grassy path in front is the swimming area with lakeside seating for sunset viewing, access to canoes and kayaks, and a fire pit for bonfires. This cabin is a special intimate place for a couple looking for a romantic getaway from which to base hiking and biking on the Mesabi Trail and day trip canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Shopping for apparel, outdoor gear, and local art can be found in Ely as well as some really fine quality dining experiences. Want to get away alone and get in touch with nature and your quiet side?
