“The view was beautiful at the river side and the window was very soundproof and it did not disturb us.The food was good and the adventure was possible.It was very fun because the two dogs were there and we were very scared and did not want them to follow us so we avoided them.They got into a little fight and we were not scared at that time.” -Isabel, 8

Nice rooms with balcony and fantastic views. Very comfortable beds. TV, coffee making facilities and safe. Wi-Fi is a little weak but not surprising considering the location. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent with high quality food and very good service. Staff were excellent.

Huge fans of the Tukenkian brand and had stayed at the hotel in Yerevan so on our second trip to Lori we asked to be placed here with our guide and driver. It's great, welcoming, easy going, amazing food! and huge drinks selection. In the better weather it''d be lovely on the terrace by the river. Great facilities and many sights are within easy reach.

This hotel is built to resemble an imposing fortress, perched on a narrow sliver of land in a deep gorge. The cliffs are imposing, and the surroundings felt gloomy to me. The gloomy theme continued in the room , which lacked bedside reading lights. (The ceiling light was fluorescent.) Functioning wifi. Good quality sheets, but a tired bed with creaky springs. There are gorgeous rugs throughout the hotel, whose public areas are spacious, and one can have a drink in front of the hotel by the river. It’s not connected to a town or village, as far as I can tell.

I had my wedding in Dzoraget with 100 family members and friends. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and 4 days and celebrated all weekend. It was the most beautiful occasion. The hotel manager, Armine, is amazing and helpful in planning all the details - room assignments, food menu, resources, etc. The hotel staff are always available and ready to help. One side of the hotel faces the village, offering a unique experience of that region. Everyone who attended the wedding loved Dzoraget, and my guests plan to return to Dzoraget when they visit Armenia. I highly recommend this beautiful and memorable venue for special family events. It's the place to create a lifetime of memories.

Second time here, had one night and dinner. Food was incredibly fresh and good, tried spinach salad, wild asparagus with eggs, wild mushroom salad and veal with vegetable in creamy sous. As Hotel was not full, there is an individual set up breakfast which I like more, because omlet is cooked only if you order it, but in this case you get no sweet & fruits like when it is a buffet breakfast. Crispy suboreg for breakfast and khadaef were good too. Hotel needs to put mosquito nets to let people sleep with open Windows. There are 2 dogs on the territory but they are absolutely friendly.

Would be a 2 star in the west. But was clean, room was ok, food was ok. Best I can say is it was an ok place to spend one night. We travelled through the Caucasus countries and most of the hotels we were at were very basic and comparable to a motel stay in the west. The big difference was that these places were so clean and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful and welcoming.
