Holiday Inn Express New Liskeard

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in New Liskeard. The room was clean and comfortable, showing a little bit of its age but still very pleasant. The staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast was great, with a good selection of items to choose from. Although the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, the staff recommended Ali’s across the road, and it was an excellent suggestion. The food there was delicious! Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again.

First day started a little rough when the hotel called us to say the hot water tank broke and they didn’t know when it would be fixed. We reserved the hotel months in advance and booked 6 days/5 nights. Because we were travelling to an event there were no other hotels available on a last minute basis. We arrived and luckily the hotel water was fixed on the 2nd day. I thought I could tough out a cold shower but realized the water was colder than a frozen lake! Complimentary breakfast was good. The breakfast room was good and the lady there was very pleasant. I felt like I was rushing in the morning to get down because breakfast was only until 9am. If I could have one request it would be for breakfast to be a little later so I could sleep in longer on my holidays!! Room cleaning was not offered and we were advised upon check-in. I don’t mind so much but it was not really a holiday type feeling when I was missing some of the perks like a fresh made bed or new towels and a clean garbage can. I don’t like garbage to collect so that was a bit inconvenient collecting it and asking for someone to come collect it. Overall my room was clean upon arrival. I was also happy that of my entire trip… it was here that I had the best sleeps!

Clean modern hotel with a great breakfast has plug ins for block heaters and indoor pool Staff was great very courteous if I happen to be in the area again I will be back thank you holiday inn new liskerd for a great stay ……………………………………………………….
