Hotel Villa Pascucci

Spent €220 per night here and honestly, it was a huge let down There was no hot water in the room — at a so-called 5-star hotel. When we went down for breakfast, there was no breakfast buffet. We were told it’s à la carte, but the server didn’t speak English. We asked for a croissant and got a cold one straight from the freezer The hotel is also in an odd location, far from the beach and the city. It’s isolated, with nothing nearby We raised these issues with the manager Manu who was rude and dismissive. We asked for a refund or some fair compensation, and all they offered was a 20-minute massage This place looks impressive online, but don't be fooled. Poor service, untrained staff, unprofessional management — and zero value for money

By Albanian standards this place is super expensive. Expectations should be high Coffee in the room - great! Oh, you have to pay for it. Can I have a glass of white wine? Nope we only serve by the bottle. Do you have a wine list? Nope - the white wine is over there and the red over there. I select a bottle - Can you tell me about this wine? No - I don’t drink wine. Ok, can I just see the drinks menu? Nope, we don’t have one. Oh man (I’m now almost laughing it’s that bad) just get me a couple of beers. When we checked in we were sent to the wrong room. Booked a massage - he turned up 10 mins late (good massage) Booked the spa - had to wait 10 mins after our booking time to enter. We told reception about our complaints. Oh, we know. The management don’t listen.

Amazing hotel and fantastic staff. I enjoyed every thing. The room is very spacious, very clean, great pools, private Spa with pre reservation. The food is very delicious. I love cacio and Pepe pasta. Best hotel in Durrës, Albania. Really 5 star hotel. I recomend everyone.

Terrible service received at this hotel. Not at all a 5star experience. I was with my friends for a weekend and everyrhing from the food to the service was a total dissappointment. I do not reccommend this so called 5 star hotel, thus I will not be coming back.

We arrived with high expectations. We were told this is the absolutely best hotel around. We even orderen the suite, we are a family of four. The exteriour is Five stars (except our terrace). But the service is unfortunately not. The two exceptions are the girl Livana (Exceptionally good) and Kleant. The ting is that everyone at the frontdesk was ok, but they only said "yes, I'll fix it", then nothing happened. Examples: - It took the hotel 36 hours to give us Key cards that were working for our room. - 24 hours to fix/change the coffee nachine. - 20 hours to come and get the trollet with leftovers from outside our room. They allways sayd: "yes we'll fix it". Livana was the only one that did. When we asked, not the next day, after "five messages". We had dinner on the terrasse of the room one day. They decorated and made it nice for us. But when they brought food, everything was there - even the "ice-cake" for dessert! I have never eathen that fast! They should also update the terrasse every year. At least with some paint etc. Conclusion: Wonderful pool area, wonderful exteriour. Staff made it a four star experience all together. We expected Five.

Just come back from a 9 night stay at this fabulous hotel. Most of the staff are amazing and would do anything for you, they are clearly there to please, and the main swimming pool is great - although the bar staff down there could seem a bit more enthusiastic and attentive. There is also another pool which is smaller. The food is really good and beautifully served, although the menu is limited. However they do know this is something they have to work on and promise it's being done. Definitely recommend a stay here for a chilled break. The area is not so great, but the hotel have a driver who will take you into Durres for nothing (although we did give him a tip) and we hired a car for a couple of days to see a bit of the country. You can walk to the beach by the way.
