When you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.   Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.   We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path.  We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.   I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.    A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

Un hotel maravilloso para descansar y relajarse, situado a los pies del monte Qingshen. Queríamos desconectar en plena naturaleza y recuperarnos de un día ajetreado, y este hotel fue un verdadero descubrimiento. Teníamos una habitación acogedora con una chimenea decorativa, una pantalla grande donde podíamos ver vídeos relajantes y una fuente termal en el balcón. Después de explorar el monte Qingshen, sumergirse en la fuente termal es una auténtica delicia. El hotel está situado en un pueblo, con un restaurante cerca y montañas boscosas por todas partes. Por la noche, los sonidos de la naturaleza llenan el aire: el canto de las cigarras y el trinar de los pájaros. El hotel cuenta con un restaurante acogedor con vistas a un precioso jardín y un desayuno maravilloso: un bol de fideos aromáticos (pueden prepararlos suaves), junto con frutas y verduras del bufé. Se puede preparar café al momento, y también hay té y zumo disponibles. Todo el personal es muy amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar; cualquier duda se resuelve rápidamente a través de WeChat. En recepción ofrecen tés deliciosos; el té ***** del monte Qingshen es exquisito, no dejen de probarlo. La entrada al monte Qingshen está a 8 minutos en taxi del hotel. Dujiangyan se encuentra a unos 45 minutos. Al hacer el check-out, nos obsequiaron con unos adorables pandas de peluche y agua para el viaje. Guardamos un grato recuerdo de este hotel y estamos muy agradecidos a todo el personal por nuestra maravillosa estancia.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations! I was expecting only a bathtub, but instead it's a jacuzzi on the private patio! The room is generous size with elegant furniture & modern amenities. The shampoo & conditioner made my hair feel softer. The room is do relaxing I didn’t want to leave the room, especially after a long day of hiking. The location couldn't be better for tourist visiting Mount Qingcheng. It's less than 5 minutes walk to Qingchengshan HSR train station & the tour bus stop to Front slope is right in front of the hotel! The air conditioner is loud & I couldn't figure out how to lower the temperature. Luckily, it was cool enough that I didn't need to turn on the air conditioner. Breakfast was ok. Highly recommend.

I want to find a different vibe of environment during my visit to Dujiangyan hence i chanced upon this homestay. For fellow travellers, a tip for you is to locate and find a way up to the second floor. The homestay is not visible from the streets so find a lift(i found 2 lifts nearby) to get to the second floor. At the second floor, you will see a stretch of similiar looking homestay. Since its a whole stretch of similiar styles, it looks like u are transported back to ancient China type of vibe which is what I am looking for. Very instagram worthy of shots u can get from here. Staff or the owner is friendly and she gave us some mandarin oranges which are delicious and juicy. Cleanliness is good too and the toiletries are provided. We choose the room with a mini backyard as it looks cool to me though i feel it can be further improved. Now for the minor setbacks, the toilet/shower design is kinda weird as it has a sorta shared sliding door between the toilet and shower room. Its hard to explain but you will get it once you see it in person. The sitting toilet might also be too small if you are more towards plus sized. Another drawback is the streets directly below us, you cannot book a didi along this street as it is a no stopping road. You need to go to the T junction near the river to book the waiting spot for Didi, its called green zone or something like that. On the plus side, we have Luckiin coffee and a chinese fast food chain directly us and also nearby small eateries. I have look through the rest of the homestays along this stretch and I would say this is one of the better ones as the rest looks a little gloomy with the interiors while this one gives a vibrant environment and is not blocked by view of the main building.

Ubicado en pleno centro de Dujiangyang, a 100 m del Panda Gigante de Selfies y de la estación de tren (conexión directa a Chengdu por 10 yuanes), y a 500 m del pintoresco Dujiangyan. Esta casa de familia se encuentra en la segunda planta de un complejo. No la verá hasta que mire hacia arriba. Hay un ascensor y dos escaleras para subir. Hay muchos lugares para relajarse. El propietario es muy amable y atento. El desayuno se sirve directamente en su habitación a las 8:30.

Buen servicio, buena ubicación, limpio y cerca de una calle peatonal. Estoy feliz de haber elegido este hotel y estoy muy satisfecho. Le doy 5 estrellas a este hotel. Muy impresionado. Bonito hotel, limpio, tiene calefacción para mantenerte caliente. En caso de ir en invierno Situado en la calle peatonal En frente del hotel, hay muchas cosas para comprar. La comida es deliciosa. Está cerca de muchas atracciones turísticas. A unos 2 kilómetros del panda selfie. Caminamos una corta distancia. Cerca de la presa Las fotos tomadas al carboncillo salen muy bonitas. Hay muchas instalaciones. y está a aproximadamente 2,5 kilómetros de la estación de tren de alta velocidad. Y lo más importante, el personal brindó un excelente servicio, dio buenos consejos, encontró agua caliente y un lugar para sentarse y descansar. Muy bien, muy impresionado ❤️

El diseño de la habitación es excelente e incluye una bañera privada. Las instalaciones son completas. Desventajas: 1. Hay lavadora, pero no secadora. Esto no supone un problema en verano, pero podría serlo en invierno. 2. El desayuno tiene una presentación atractiva, pero es poco nutritivo. Por ejemplo, las verduras encurtidas y el rábano seco ya suman dos platos. El resto incluye: huevos, batatas (del tamaño de un dedo delgado), maíz (del grosor de medio dedo), panecillos al vapor (del tamaño de medio puño) y cuatro tomates cherry. Es apto solo para mujeres; a los hombres probablemente les resulte insuficiente. La azotea ofrece una buena vista y los servicios cercanos son muy prácticos.

El servicio fue muy bueno, el mayordomo se comunicó con nosotros con anticipación para informarnos de las precauciones, cuando llegamos al estacionamiento tomó la iniciativa de ayudarnos a llevar nuestro equipaje a la habitación. La habitación también proporciona albornoces y zapatillas para los niños, este detalle me hace sentir que está muy cuidado, me he alojado en muchísimos hoteles y B&B y es raro que estén preparados para niños. Aunque no tenemos hijos. El ambiente es muy bueno y hay muchos lugares aptos para tomar fotografías hermosas, la tienda es muy atenta y tiene un folleto para que todos tomen fotografías como referencia. Fue muy agradable escuchar música en el bar de la azotea por la noche.

Very secluded location that requires you to drive in order to locate the hotel. Peaceful surroundings located near a military base where you can hear gunshots in the early morning. One of the common toilets cannot be closed and the housekeeping lady said this problem was since the previous guest stayed which they didn't have time to fix before we checked in. Overall a very nice stay given the peaceful surroundings.

Overall, I was quite disappointed with my stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient, but there are quite a few areas where the service and facilities could be improved. First of all, the front desk was seriously understaffed. During peak hours, there were only two staff members handling check-ins, resulting in very slow service and long waiting times. Unfortunately, the staff were also not particularly friendly or patient. There was also a discrepancy between the room description and the actual room. When booking, the room description indicated that three double beds would be combined to form one large bed. However, in reality, only two double beds were pushed together to make one large bed. We were a group of three, but only two sets of toiletries were provided in the room. I called the front desk to request an additional set and waited for about 30 minutes, but nothing was delivered. I called again and was told that a robot would deliver the items shortly. However, the delivery was incomplete — the towel and bottled water were missing. After calling the front desk for the third time, I was told that they were very busy and that I would have to wait a long time. I explained that I needed to go out and could not wait for too long, but the staff simply asked me to come downstairs and pick up the items myself. For a hotel, I found this level of service quite disappointing. Another issue is the elevator situation at night. There were often many people waiting for the elevators, as some guests were going to the 19th floor to enjoy the night view of Dujiangyan, while others were heading to the hot springs. The waiting time could be quite long. Also, only a very limited number of rooms actually have a view of the “Blue Tears” phenomenon. Even at the restaurant on the 19th floor, there are only about three seats with a good view, and they are often occupied. It can be quite difficult to get one of those seats. The hair dryer in the room was also very disappointing. The airflow was extremely weak and there was no cool-air setting, which is particularly inconvenient for women. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely its location. It is very close to the train station and Yangtianwo Square, making it very convenient for transportation and sightseeing. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service efficiency, front desk service, room description, and some of the facilities did not meet my expectations. If you value good service and a comfortable stay, I would recommend considering these issues carefully before booking.
