We've stayed in seven different hotels/Airbnb during our four weeks in Europe and Cava Apartments were our absolute favourite. Marko was an amazing host and welcomed us warmly - very efficient and friendly. The apartment had everything we needed with an amazing bathroom and spectacular sea-views out the window to the fort. We loved our time in Dubrovnik and highly recommend Cava Apartments as a wonderful place to stay.

The apartment is really nice and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Marko, the owner is a lovely guy and was very apologetic when we checked out after 3 days when we had booked and paid for 7. What we didn't know was that there are so many very steep and uneven steps to get anywhere. I am 80 years old and my husband 82 and consider ourselves fit and in good health for our ages. But these steps defeated us so we moved to a hotel, by the sea which was a 20 minute bus ride from the old town.

I recently stayed at this wonderful apartment with my family. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped. The location is fantastic (breathtaking views of the sea right from the apartment). Marko, the host, was super kind and friendly, making our stay even more pleasant. Included in the price was a bottle of wine and breakfast supplies (bread, butter, Nutella, coffee, and tea), which was a thoughtful touch. The location of the apartment was peaceful: not in the old town, yet close enough that we could easily walk to all the main attractions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for serene yet conveniently located accommodation with stunning sea views.

We were truly blessed to have had the best host anyone can wish for. Anything we needed Marko was there for us. He offered to pick us up at the airport once we arrived from the US. Our flight was delayed by 1.5 hrs and he waited for us. He asked what our plans were while in Dubrovnik and we told him. He had suggested if time allowed that he would take us to Ston & Mail Ston to have fresh oysters and we said HECK YEAH! We did that trip on our last day before our ferry ride to Hvar. Not only did we have the most amazing oysters we had ever tasted but he also took us on a mini Game of Thrones tour in Trsteno Arboretum / King's Landing Gardens. You know where Jaime learned how to sword fight with one hand with Bronn and when Sansa pays a visit to Lady Olenna Tyrell to discuss Margaery’s marriage to King Joffrey, and whether the wedding is such a good idea. The garden is used again when Oberon advises Cersei that he’ll send a present to Myrcella. YES OF COURSE I GOOGLED IT! I couldn’t remember all the details LOL!! Our apartment at Cava Apartments had stunning views of the sea and the walls of Old Town. The apartment was a 5 minute walk to Pile Gates.

We spent 3 nights at Cava Dubrovnik. The location was very convenient to the areas we wished to visit. Beautiful view of the fort and sea from our bedroom. Marko and Vedrana were helpful and accommodating, providing suggestions for the area and assisted with transportation from the airport. The room was clean, modern and in excellent condition. Overall a pleasant experience, highly recommend based on our experience.

Beautiful and very comfortable apartment 5 min walk from Pile Gate and the Old City. The apartment is well-equipped: kitchenware, fridge, coffee machine at your disposal, along with TV, wifi, iron+board, drying rack. There's a main road just 1 min north from the apartment, with a supermarket and bakery very close by. Arriving in Dubrovnik, I used Cava's transfer service, and leaving Dubrovnik, I used the Airport shuttle bus, which is an 8-min walk from the apartment. Very convenient and easy to reach. You do need to go up some stairs, but afterwards, you can simply walk along the main road to get the Cable Car bus stop for the shuttle bus. Last but not least, the views from the apartment are stunning, whether in the morning or in the middle of the night, with the walls and fortress lit up and the sea also in the horizon.

Marko was an amazing host and THE VIEW CANNOT BE BEAT! Modern, beautiful, close to the action but tucked away on a quiet street. Right near the best gate to old town. All the amenities. Highly recommend you stay here if possible.

Marko was very helpful and provided us with pick up and drop off from the airport (at a extra charge). He was always available via what's app to give advice and information about the area. If we needed anything, like extra towels or toilet roll he was very attentive and got them to us within a day. He was very down to earth, funny and had such a vast knowledge of the area and country, we all agreed that he made our stay just that little bit more special as we felt really well looked after. We loved the décor and the fact the view was amazing. The aircon was a god send on the VERY hot days. We loved that there was a patio area at the front of the apartment entrance with a perfect chance to sit, relax and enjoy the view with a drink.

Stayed here with a friend. A few days before the trip to Dubrovnik, my friend had contacted the owner MARCO who was very helpful from the start. He was very prompt on answering our inquiries which helped a lot especially when visiting a foreign country. He arranged for our airport pick up, his sister met us at the top of the street who led us to the apartment. She was very accommodating as well; a text away when needed. The apartment is about 5 min walk from gate PILE. There are a few ways to get to the place all of which though I must say, involves stairs. But DUBROVNIK is all about stairs! So it’s a NORM to get from point A to point B using lots of stairs! The room is very nicely put with a minimalist theme but very functional and chic. My friend and I stayed in this one bedroom apartment, used their pull up sofa for an extra bed. To me having an owner that is very involved, a nice and clean place to sleep and a beautiful scenic view of the country account to a very worthwhile and amazing vacation.
