Embassy Suites by Hilton Columbus Dublin

Worst Hilton branded hotel stay in over 30 years. Decrepit furniture, missing hardware, undisciplined housekeeping staff (missed a cleaning upon renewing stay), untrained front desk staff (not Hilton standard), do not recognize Diamond status,. Will never stay here again. Should have checked the reviews before booking.

I am appalled by the experience I had at Embassy Suites in Dublin, Ohio while attending a wedding. What should have been a joyful weekend was tainted by the shocking and aggressive behavior of the front desk manager, CHRISTOPHER. A friend of mine accidentally forgot his room key and simply asked for a replacement, a basic and routine request. Instead of helping, Christopher became immediately hostile, got in his face, and threatened him with physical violence. I witnessed the entire confrontation and captured it in photos. Let me be clear: this was not a misunderstanding or a moment of stress, it was unprovoked aggression from a hotel employee in a position of authority. No guest should ever be made to feel unsafe or threatened at a hotel, period. This kind of behavior is disgraceful and reflects an utter failure in training, professionalism, and basic human decency. I would never stay at this property again, and I strongly urge others to reconsider if they value safety, respect, and proper customer service. Embassy Suites should take this incident seriously and investigate thoroughly. Guests deserve better.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times for a yearly reoccurring event. It has gone more downhill every time that this was our last stay. The rooms are in need of work. Pieces of our floor tile were missing, the towel rack was falling off the wall, the desk chair was falling apart. I woke up at 6AM to shower and there was ZERO hot water. Eventually around 6:30, the hot water came on, do they turn it off until 6:30 AM? oh my goodness! Not only that, but there are new rules that you cannot be in the lobby past 11PM. That obviously was never the case before, I respect that there have apparently been issues at this hotel, but unfortunately, that rule now makes a huge difference in the decision to ever stay here again. As a group, it was a great place to gather, now it doesn't have that availability. Also, as an out of towner, I didn't realize how incredibly dangerous this location has become. The increased security presence is great, but just buyer beware that they are not shy about telling you how bad it is here. I've stayed in plenty of major city areas and never been scared. who knew dublin ohio was that bas?!

We typically stay at the Hilton Easton but this hotel was closer to our needs. We checked in around 11pm. Family of 4. They had one bed in the room. Ok not a big deal. I called for a roll away bed. They dont have roll away beds, no pull out beds- nothing. I asked if we can switch to adjoining rooms- nothing available. They guy on the phone CHRISTOPHER was incredibly rude, couldnt care less we were in a predicament and didnt have acceptable sleeping arrangements. I sent husband to go buy blow up mattress etc. I called down for towels, Christopher said they wont bring them up, we can come down and get them. I came down and asked for blanket and pillows so that my teens could sleep on the floor. THEY HAD ZERO pillows available. AT A HOTEL! ZERO. NO one cared about our issue, they couldnt of been less bothered. In fact it seemed like they loved watching us suffer. The pool was ice cold and we were told it would take 4 hour notice to heat up. It was the worst stay of our life, we left early and cancelled the rest of our reservations. I will not be using Hiltons ever again if I can avoid it. It was RUTHLESS.

I just wanted to say the service here is too notch. Alexandria at the front desk really hit it out of the park with kindness and service. I am truly grateful to her. Beautiful hotel too! Excellent value for the price. It’s really nice to have space and not have to sit on a bed when in the room. All the comforts of home. But again and most importantly THANK YOU for the kindness and service! Kindness matters most to me!

First, your evening reception really leaves a lot to be desired. The food offerings are subpar and the bartenders are rude and unfriendly. Expected more from an Embassy Suites. Second, upon check in the front desk clerk warned us about “frequent burglaries” in the parking area and actually—and I’m not kidding—suggested we leave our car doors UNLOCKED so thieves had easier access to our car wouldn’t break our car windows. Excuse me?? Are you KIDDING me?!? How about just keeping your parking lot safe?!!! Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. NOT what I would expect from an Embassy Suites. Do better!
