We had a local dope head try to break our door down it took me and my husband to keep him from getting into our room we had to call the cops they arrested him,the parking lot is very busy it’s used for a cut through from the main hwy!! Not peaceful!!

DANGEROUS PLACE TO STAY! DO NOT GET A RESERVATION AT THIS HOTEL! The rooms are terrible. Unclean, uncomfortable beds-warped mattresses. Broken loud bathroom fan. A very nasty stickey TV remote. Loud parking lot. Loud cars and loud people, music. Atmosphere was unsafe. Constant loud foot traffic on the floor above. Could not rest at all. I checked out and canceled my reservation not long after check in. I checked into another hotel that night through Priceline. I stayed at the Comfort Inn just up the street. It was a relief to say the least. They care about the customer. The "Guest House" was notified by "Booking" to refund me due to these issues. They ignored Booking and ignored my emails as well. I still have not been refunded. They have not tried to contact me at all. "The Guest House" DOES NOT care about the customer and has an unsatisfactory hotel.

I am a travel nurse who just started a contract 4/11. Due to the limited choice of my usual caliber of hotels I chose Guest House because of the pictures and it's proximity to Southeast Health Hosp. Well the place is DISGUSTING and Run down! Walls were Filthy, bathroom tub had a big dirt stain, old chair that looked as if it came from a Goodwill and I could go on and on! After working a 12hr night shift I couldn't even sleep because the EMPLOYEES were so LOUD outside it was ridiculous!! Then I awoke startled by 2 people(employees) BANGING on my door like Police or a robbery of some sort the following morning because it was after 12 and I hadn't paid for my additional night. Despite the fact I had Told the manager I would be over the pay once I woke up. At THIS roach motel you must pay UPFRONT (although I'd already paid for 2nights upfront when I originally arrived). Well don't just take MY word for it...I found out from MANY coworkers after the fact that The Guest House has a reputation.....A MISTAKE MANY have made...steer clear. Unless you're homeless or a junkie, you won't find this place worth the "savings"!
