This was the first of 4 hotels we booked on our 2 week trip to Zanzibar. My wife, daughter and I came as a birthday treat for myself! Everything at/in this hotel was just fantastic, all the staff, the room, the layout and cosiness was just beautiful. Situated right on the beach with friendly Masai security guards to stop anyone wandering in. Not that there was many people in this area. From our beach facing room on the ground floor it was just a few metres to the pool and white sands past the restaurant. The food was delicious, with different choices every night. "Kelvin" and the rest of our friendly waiters/barman were always smiling, ready to chat for advice on Zanzibar. Not that we had to, but everyone dressed nicely for dinner which gave the ambience of a high class restaurant. Would go back anytime. Paul Taylor, Southampton, England.

First off, sign up for their Ocean Club membership. You will get some pretty cool deals. We stayed at OBH for 8 nights and simply loved every minute of it. From the time we entered the gates till we departed, we felt like we were home. The view from every location of the hotel is amazing. The Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Amazing food. Very helpful and attentive staff. Will definitely return as now I consider OBH to be my second home. Asante Sanna.

I had an unforgettable stay at the Ocean Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar during September 2024. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure its guests have an exceptional experience. This magical boutique hotel made me fall in love with Zanzibar all over again. The view from my room was spectacular, the staff is super friendly & helpful and the tranquil atmosphere is wonderful for optimal relaxation. The Ocean Boutique Hotel will be perfect for a romantic honeymoon destination or a relaxed breakaway spot for memorable holiday. The beach in front of the hotel has crystal clear blue water and the most beautiful white sand strips for long walks next to the ocean. I can 100% recommend this hotel will all of my heart! 10/10 :)

Hotel is located just on the beach, kept cleaned every day by Hotel personnel. Diving center really besides the hotel, managing snorkeling, scuba, surfing and other activities. The Blue Lagoon is some like 500 meters from hotel, easily allowing nice snorkeling after a 10 minutes boat trip. A little longer after the Blue Lagoon there's a zone where you can fine hundreds of Star Fishes, very beautiful! Restaurant is fine, we really enjoied our meals. Tide changes the landscape every 6 hours. When tide is high, you can bath, when it is low you can walk to be reef.

Wow, what a blast at Ocean Boutique Hotel! Just wrapped up my second Zanzibar trip in a few months, and this place knocked my socks off! First off, big shout-out to Ally and Kevin - you guys rock! Your smiles and top-notch service made the stay even better. Last time I was next door at The Sands, their sister hotel. Loved it there too, but honestly? Ocean takes the cake! These folks have outdone themselves this time. Both spots are absolute gems, proving the management really knows their stuff. But Ocean? It's on another level entirely! If you're heading to Zanzibar and want a slice of paradise, look no further. Trust me, I'm already plotting my return!
