Morena Hotel Dodoma

The check in was fast and seamless. Very limited details taken though, I hope this keeps all guests secure! The rooms are massive - spacious, so is the balcony. Room 217 was my humble abode for 2 nights. Hot water, big absorbent towels, very nice branded HK amenities. Tea/Coffee making amenities available. Placement can be improved. Mini bar is available - not stocked at the time. The parking is big enough with gardens well kept. Security is alert all time to slide open and close the gate The bar is well set, subtly next to the restaurant and reception. Could do better with some piped music and subtle entertainment from time to time. Ordered some wine in a glass but unfortunately was a missing item at the time. However, the bar is well stocked. I had breakfast at the restaurant. Minimal but healthy. Could do with tea/coffee service without having to be prompted. Enjoyed the fresh juices, fruit cuts, green vegetables and several other healthy food options. I did room service for lunch. No delays in preparation and delivery. Very good presentation. I had a kienyeji chicken for the first time in my 1 year stay in TZ so far. Room make-up was done by a young lady on my second day of stay - had initially booked one night then extended. Very professional and neat work. Overall, very professional staff and it would be nice to see some guest engagement by the staff at restaurants and lobby. Good hospitality overall.
