Comfort Inn & Suites

This hotel is one step up from a crack hotel. When we checked in the elevator wasn't working, the one and only ice machine wasn't working, the refrig in our room wasn't working. The carpet is more than nasty. The bathroom door in our room locked without anyone in it and my husbands breathing machine and teeth were in room, took over 3 hours for them to get door open. Breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired.

This hotel needs a lot of fixing up. The covered checkin parking is not covered anymore. The pool is closed as is the gym and the general upkeep is lacking. We stayed but we won’t do so again. The cleanliness was sub par. Our key cards didn’t work much of the time. There was a dirty sheet on the pull out couch.

Great manager and the ladies at front desk amazing and housekeeping was fantastic they cleaned everyday definitely will come back here best experience I would say on this journey for work being in hotels this one was hands down the best my mom travels with me and she even felt comfortable and they were so kind to her that made me happy

We had some issues with this hotel stay. We had previously stayed here in April 2023 and had a nice enough experience we decided to return. So this trip in August 2023 we had hoped for the same. We ended up having to go thru three different rooms before we got a good one. The first room they gave us the door lock didn’t work correctly. It appeared to lock but it didn’t feel like it fully engaged when we turned the latch. After closer inspection and playing with it we noticed the bolt hit the bar on the door frame so did fully extend to lock properly. After in forming the front desk staff we were assigned a second room. When we walked into that room we saw a bath towel sitting on the bed and then noticed the soap bottles on the floor of the shower. So back down to the front desk for our third room. Thankfully this room was a winner. Sadly this didn’t end our experience. That morning we went down for the breakfast that was supposed to start at 6:00am. When we arrived downstairs the whole lobby was dark. No staff or breakfast in sight. We tried to exit to load our stuff in the car and the front door was locked up. We exited thru a side door to get to our car. As we were loading our car a staff member drove up. He seemed confused about how to complete our checkout and said his manager will have to do it when he showed up later at 7:30am. So we left without being fully checked out and without our breakfast. You can imagine we had a very disappointing time.

We had a very good stay here for one night on our way down to Florida. The room was very clean. The only issue was the shower door leaked which caused water to pool on the floor. They serve breakfast 6:00am-9:00am. We left earlier then that around 5:30am but was able to make some bagel and cream cheese from their breakfast area before we left. We definitely plan to stay here again on our next trip down to Florida.

If there was a 0 rating i would give it that as the person at reception said it was full and there was no room available. There was a total of 3,possibly 4 cars in the parking lot. The next morning (today) the parking lot was the same. We had been driving for about 10 hours. Like to think it wasn't a race issue and i hope the owner of this location gets to the bottom of this. He is losing money because of this.
