White Sands Lodge

Good welcoming reception, Nice, spacious and well maintained campsites, next to the river. Management does its utmost best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Beautifull bar. White Sands Lodge is expanding. So at the moment there are construction works going on.

We loved everything about WS. Pieter and other staff, the incredible view of the Falls, the food, the pure tranquility and the astounding facilities. Wished we could have stayed much longer. The San tribes operate the Park with class, friendlieness and joy! Thanks for a memorable stay!

Fabulous location. The rooms are fantastic, with incredible views. I made an error with booking dates...despite the staff waiting late the previous evening, they were still very accommodating.

What an amazing place to stay! We spent 2 days resting during a 5 week safari though South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. The site has a view over the Popa Falls! The campsite was great with a donkey for hot water that was lit twice every day and the staff at the restaurant did their best to make our stay memorable. Thank you, Selma and Adela for your kindness and laughs and Cyrus also for the excellent river cruise…

Myself and my husband travelled in a camper van and stayed at campsite no 7 for 2 nights with the sounds of rapids and falls and the chorus of the night life. The campsite provided private amenities right on the door step of the van, the toilet/shower ablutions were also private but just a little walk away from the van. We went on the boat excursion the 1st night and got alot of Hippo sightings and photos as well as a beautiful sun set. We booked a game boat excursion for the following morning but they couldnt take us due to the minimum booking requires 4 people so we went on a 4 x 4 game drive instead, think setting off at 8am is a little late as the temperature was already hitting 26 degrees and as a result didn't see much wildlife apart from the usual, no elephants, buffalo or any cats. The pool area was lovely to cool off at on our return.

We camped at the lodge. We experienced the white beach sand and the soothing poppa falls. Absolutely breathtaking. The service from all staff was great! We will definitely visit again and again. We expected a breakfast buffet considering the price, but I hope it will be there next time.
