Hotel Art Inn Dinslaken

Conveniently located near the train depot and a short 10-15 minute walk to the middle of town (shops). The area is quiet at night. Plus they have a lot of onsite parking. Rooms are good size and you can have breakfast included.

I needed safe parking for my expensive touring bike. Owner wife showed me an outside place next to hotel behind a 1.25 meter high see-through iron gate, no place to lock the bike. Would not let me put bike further back where it could be locked. I said I could not leave my bike there. Hotel is right at train station, 10-12 loud rough men drinking tall cans of strong beer in the street late into the night. On a Monday. She said there is a locked gate. I said I need a new hotel. She said okay, then by the trash cans in a locked shed. I said fine. She then said in a angry demeaning way "but I told you this gate locks." The gate is chest high and see-through, so essentially an unlocked $2k bicycle is 30 meters from a dozen dirtbag street people, "protected" by a 1.25 meter high see-through iron gate my mother could climb in 5 seconds. I was tired of this woman condescending to me, and told her. I am a serious, sober, professional person. I am normally pleasant and deferrential. I've stayed at 26 hotels on this Europe trip, and not one single issue with anyone. But this woman - we had words about her strange combative attitude, and that I was not going to be treated like an ***** for no cause. In the end, unlocking the garbage shed was a simple turn of a key she had already in her hand. It was nothing to her, but she made it like I was giving her trouble to leave my bike in a safe place. I have dignity and will not be dressed down like a child by an arrogant person. The next morning the owner husband, an obsequious type quite opposite his wife, took me out to my bike. The bike had been scratched and vandalized in the night. I know this for a fact. I am bike touring. I ride the bike 5-8 hours each day and look right at the top tube. Iremove a bag each evening right from the tube. IT WAS NOT DAMAGED in the evening when I left it. The owner husband said that no one had been in the shed since the bike was locked in. But the night before the straps I use to secure a bag to the bike I left on top of a trash can. I thought I would remember them there. Both straps were on the ground. Look at the pictures of the scratches. They are fresh, and the are a hand scribbling. That is not an impact or repetitive motion. The owner wife was haughty and demeaning to me and treated me like I'm stupid, maybe because I don't speak much German? We argued about how she was treating me. Instead of acting like a responsible person she attacked my bicycle in the night like a petty coward. The husband claims otherwise, that the bike must have been damaged ahead of time, but it was not - I know this for a fact. I will: 1) contact *********** customer service. 2) have my credit card company charge back my payment - I did not pay to have my property damaged. 3) complain to the local tourist agency and hotel license agency. I recommend avoiding this hotel. The location is spitting distance from a small mob of street drunks, and the owner wife

Guten Tag, Ich bin Ende Mai 25 eine Freundin in Dinslaken besuchen gegangen. Habe daher nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbracht. Das Personal sowie die Atmosphäre waren traumhaft, als Berliner bin ich 3 Sterne aufwärts gewohnt und muss dazu sagen, dass dieses Hotel meinen Erwartungen mehr als genug entsprachen.

Wir Waren zum dritten Mal Gast im ARTINN und es hat uns auch dieses Mal gut gefallen. Leider haben sich für uns Spätaufsteher die Frühstückszeiten erheblich nach vorne geschoben ( 6:00 bis 9:00 Uhr) , so dass wir Probleme hatten, in Ruhe zu Frühstücken. :-(

We hadden een prima arrangement in Art Inn Hotel. 4 overnachtingen met ontbijt voor €152,00. Het ontbijt was prima: veel keuze en vers. De kamer was groot genoeg. Parkeren is gratis in de buurt. De ontvangst mag iets vriendelijker.

Sehr guter und netter Service. Zimmer sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Öffentliche Parkplätze (Parkuhr) direkt vor dem Hotel verfügbar. Innenstadt zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar. Gerne wieder.
