Hotel & Spa Goldene Rose

We had a wonderful time at the goldene Rose. Everything was perfect (except perhaps the motion sensor in the toilet 😂.) Every member of staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was exceptional for both breakfast and our evening meals. The spa area was clean and cosy, with plenty of places to relax. We have already promised ourselves that we will be back.

Attention , i was hired from this company and they started manipulating my contract , disrespecting me as a proffesional and avoiding legal questions. They do not want to pay their chefs. I was hired to improve their standarts but after exposing facts they turned toxic on me and i was asked to leave. A potential food poisoning will happen i have informed the police and health and safity autority aswell, absolute criminals hiding in there.!

My family stayed in Dinkelsbühl as a stop on our European road trip, when we arrived we parked our car (which is quite an ordeal) and then a receptionist checked us in and showed us around our hotel. The hotel doesn’t offer a valet service, so they recommend you park in a car park located just outside the city, if you aren’t lucky enough to grab a space in the city. I stayed in the Queen Victoria suite. The room was very nice and modern with a lovely view of the church. The hotel is located in prime location, right in the middle of the old town, and all the restaurants are only a short walk away. That night we had drinks in the bar, the service was quite good and so were the drinks. In the rooms it was a little hot, and the underfloor cooling could only work to a certain extent. The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel. It was delicious with a wide range of food, and local cuisine. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this modern hotel, in the heart of Dinkelsbühl.

We just returned from what was without a doubt a perfect wellness weekend in the newly renovated & recently re-opened Hotel Goldene Rose in Dinkelsbühl. The hotel is located right in the middle of Dinkelsbühl's historic town centre. This little gem a town is still surrounded by the old medieval walls and towers. The entire town centre is beautifully maintained in it's original medieval style. From the second we walked through the the doors until we left, we couldn't get enough of the amazing architecture & the atmosphere of the hotel. The architects have managed a perfect symbiotic connection between old & new. The hotel is housed in several buildings that are also connected from inside. We stayed in one of the Rosen Studios which are a little further from the main building. You can still get to the wellness spa on the top floor of the main building in the fluffy bathrobes & slippers provided by the hotel without having to leave the building :-) The connection goes through the wonderful Rosensaal theater/ cinema where occasionally live performances are shown. The spa area is beautifully integrated into the top floors under the roof with visible beams that have held this building up for over 400 years. In fact, the original beams can be seen all over the hotel. Imagine if the walls could talk... I'm sure they would have a story or two to tell :-) The outdoor rooftop pool is very inviting. With it's beautifully designed roof, this can be used in any weather. We had several treatments in the spa. The staff were super professional & extremely friendly.  I can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed. We booked with half board. This consisted of a very well sorted & delicious breakfast buffet & a 4 course evening dinner. The food was extremely "lecker'" :-) The staff in all areas, be it Reception, Restaurant & Bar, Wellness & House keeping were all very friendly & helpful with any questions that came up. It's hard to write anything negative about this wonderful hotel but to be fair I should mention it. There were a few minor details that I missed during our stay. Some things I didn't actually need during my stay but others might have. 1.The studios have a small kitchenette with cooking facilities. There were pots but no plates or cutlery other than cups, tea spoons & chopping knives. I wasn't cooking but others using the facility will need these things. I also missed a cloth or tea towel to wipe up a small spill after making some coffee using the capsule coffee machine which is also part of the studio's features. 2. I would liked to have had some hooks in the bathroom to hang my bathrobe. Instead I used hangers in the wardrobe. 3. There were some drinks in the minibar but no information in the room to indicate if these were included in the room price or how much they cost. I also would liked to have had some general information like the breakfast times or spa opening hours. I've been told that this info will be available on the TVs soon. For so

Wir waren im Hotel Zur Goldenen Rose leider nur für einen Tag. Haben in der Rosensuite übernachtet. Wir sind schon sehr viel unterwegs und nächtigen immer in Top Hotels. Hier waren wir doch sehr überrascht und begeistert. Das Hotel liegt Zentral in Dinkelsbühl. Ein ganz toller Ort der unverständlicherweise nicht soviel Beachtung erfährt wie z.B. Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Der Empfang war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns wurde ein Begrüßungsgetränk nach Wahl angeboten. Dieses haben wir draußen genossen. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war wirklich schön und bis ins Detail bestens verarbeitet. Überhaupt. Im ganzen Hotel wurde bei der Verarbeitung der hochwertigen Materialien nicht geschlampt. Das habe ich in anderen Luxushotels auch schon anders erlebt. Richtig gut und wirklich zum wohlfühlen war der Spa Bereich. Alles sehr Stilvoll, toll verarbeitet, schön eingerichtet. Das haben wir wirklich Weltweit selten gesehen. Der Pool richtig schön mit Ausblick auf den Dom. (und auf die 68 Klimaaktivisten Horst und Gerda. So nenne ich Sie mal. Aber das hat uns nicht gestört, sondern eher amüsiert. Da sieht man doch mal wie engstirnig und verblendet diese Leute sind, das Sie denken, indem Sie schmutzige Wäsche auf den Balkon hängen, damit das Klima zu retten) Das Frühstück am Morgen war auch sehr gut. Tolle hochwertige Produkte, mit den besten Brötchen seit langem. Nicht die Riesen Auswahl, aber mehr Qualität statt Quantität. Das einzige was uns beiden nicht so dolle gefallen hat, war das die Betten relativ hart sind. Im ganzen können wir dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Für uns 4,8 von 5 Punkten.. Top
