"This four-star hotel was better than many of the five-star hotels I stayed at during my trip to France. Breakfast was included, and it even included oysters and champagne. The La Mer spa treatment and the shampoo and lotion in the room were quite good. I didn't know I needed to book dinner; I hadn't. I was scheduled for the second round at 8:45 pm, which was quite late. The waiters didn't speak English, and the food was just average."

The rooms are simple but well decorated as well as the rest of the hotel. We were very welcomed by charming people and small careers who do not hesitate to share good addresses. The hotel is 10mn walk from the center. The bus from the station of Saint Malo stops at the end of the street!"

"While this hotel is extremely well located it is not a true five star experience. Reasons: inadequate service at breakfast. Three days: gluten free bread day 1 inedible, day 2 -- tried harder and passable, day 3-- good.... and not enough. Served to everyone without any notation so when I asked for a second slice of toast I was told there isn't anymore! Unheard of! Breakfast was so poor that we canceled our reservation at the Michelin starred restaurant for dinner! Coffee orders: macchiato.... took 3X to get it right 2 out of 3 days Gluten free bread-- disastrous Omelette orders mixed up! Room-- great view-- but-- bugs.......no a/c in bathroom or WC! Check in, the person who assisted us knew very little (even about opening the bathroom shades! Concierges in the evening were lovely. Overall, management is lacking. We complained, yet there was not even a follow up from owners a week later!"

Arrived at 4 p.m. on a Wednesday, the room was not ready. When I arrived, I asked for a larger room. Answer, impossible, the hotel is full. Lie: lack of staff. Too bad because I had been coming to this hotel for four years. Avoid room 304."

"I am a travel agent. I originally made a reservation and changed it within the acceptable period. I paid for the first reservation and was told to pay again for the second and I would be refunded. 3 weeks have gone by. No one at the hotel responds. When I stayed there no one had an answer. When I called no one had an answer and when I emailed no one answered. $4600. No refund. Fortunately Amex will take care of this. But there is no service at this hotel. And no one knows anything. I will never send a client here. It is like the blind leading the blind. Stay away!!"
