Hôtel Aguado

Coming back to the Aguado for the 5th time, was an absolute joy. We were given a wonderful warm welcome on arrival. As always the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. On hearing that I am facing major heart surgery, I was presented with a very thoughtful gift. Christine and the team at the Aguado, go above and beyond to make this the best hotel in Dieppe.We can't wait to go back next year.

Stayed just for one night. However, wished we'd stayed a little longer. Very nice bright room with a large bathroom, very clean. Lovely reception staff. We did not have breakfast although we will next time. Looking forward to rebooting soon

We had a change of our planned french holiday with only two days notice of our departure. To call it a scramble to find elsewhere would be an understatement. The gods shined on us. We found a hotel in a perfect location that could accommodate us for five nights. We sailed into Dieppe and a short drive found us in the hotel. A lovely and genuine warm welcome was received. We had accessibility issues and we were told when booking that all would be ok but we were still apprehensive. Our room was on the 4th floor, no problem there is a lift. Our room was overlooking the sea and was easily big enough for us. The bathroom was perfect for our issues and gleaming. It was spotlessley clean and whoever made the beds were from a bygone era, they were immaculately made up. Our first night (and subsequent nights) we slept for over 8 hours, the bed was really comfortable. We opted for breakfast each day despite the plethera of restaurants/cafes nearby. Well worth it. Cereals/fruit juices, fresh fruit, yoghurt, various breads, selection of cooked meats, various cheeses, croissants, pain chocolat, various coffees and teas, toaster and expresso machine, the works, and as much as you can eat (which was a lot). The smiling staff member was in constant attendance, topping up where necessary. Throughout our stay we encountered many members of staff and they were unfailingly and naturally (no fake smiles) friendly. Bearing in mind other reviews were we lucky, I think not, this level of service does not come without hard work and training. The decor was not to our tastes (how many houses do you visit where you do like the decor?) but it was immaculately clean. Be aware that there are two huge fields in front of the hotel which are frequently used for local/regional events which will put pressure on the many hundreds of free parking spaces that are available. We arrived at the start of the biggest event of the year, a huge two week fair with nearly a hundred rides, not our cup of tea but we slept soundly with the windows open. We will definitely stay here again.
