Hotel Vittorio

Perfect choice for us. The location is excellent, right on the lake and close to all restaurants and jetty for boat to other towns and only 15 minutes walk down from the train station. Our room was spacious, plenty room to unpack and enough wardrobe and storage space for our three night trip. The bathroom area was loverly and the shower was powerful, roomy and hot. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice of hot and cold food with plenty pastries, fruit and lots of wee surprise items, loved it. The best thing about the hotel however was the staff. What a friendly, helpful group of people. I honestly can't remember when last I stayed somewhere and met such warmth. Thank you so much to them all for making our stay so special.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Vittorio. First of all, the staff is really amazing and helpful with every question (and we had many because this was our first time in this area). The hotel is very nice, updated and modern. We appreciated the updates to the lobby (very attractive), beds (very comfortable), pillows and bathrooms (which happened to have the same Italian tile that I recently put in my bathroom so they have very good taste!). The location was perfect and just a few minute walk to the ferry. The parking is about a 10 minute walk away in a covered parking garage but they allow you to park in front of the hotel to drop off your luggage and check in, which was much appreciated. They offer the same service when checking out. The breakfast was amazing and delicious. They offered everything you could possibly think of (meats (including bacon!), cheeses, eggs, homemade croissants, pastries and breakfast cakes, fresh fruit) and things you would never think of (such as fresh bruschetta). It was truly an abundant display and everything was fresh and delicious. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops just outside your door so it was extremely convenient and easy to get around. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

I have little to add to my 5-star review of the Hotel Vittorio from a year ago, September 2023. I can simply say that during our 7-day stay there this August/September, the hotel's fine staff continued to deliver outstanding service at a reasonable price. Of course, the view from the balconies facing Lago di Garda and the Lungomare are still the best in town. And the breakfast -- especially the fruit, including the local fresh figs -- rivals any hotel breakfast anywhere in Italy. Bravi! Aurelia, Andrea, Valerio and the whole Hotel Vittorio team are to be commended for creating an "above and beyond" experience for their guests! Again, we hope to return!

Another fabulous stay at this lovely hotel. Such a great location, really helpful staff and rooms that are just what you need. We had a lake view balcony room and it’s well worth the extra. Breakfast is a pretty big selection of mainly cold food, but always plentiful and tasty. Already planning our fifth visit.

Another wonderful stay at this lakeside hotel. We had a twin room on the 2nd floor over looking Lake Garda. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot and cold food available. We had a really bad storm while we were there, which started on the Tuesday night and finally stopped on the Thursday morning. The whole town virtually shut down, the wonderful staff looked after us really well. I would recommend Hotel Vittorio to any one looking for a lakeside hotel in Desenzano

We have visited twice before and it was even better than we remembered. We were met by a very nice lady and were assigned a lovely room. Not the biggest, but enough space. There was a working minibar and a good bed (the pillows were a bit hard, I quess we could have asked for softer). The only thing we wished for was more hangers. What the room lacked in size was made up for in a large terrace. Here there were 2 chairs, a table and a sunbed. Lovely view to the water and the park. When the birds got too excited with their song (lovely) early in the morning, the doors were fully sound-insulated. The room had nice air conditioning, but for us it was enough to have the door open. The bathroom was new and superb with a large and delicious shower, lovely shower gel and good towels. The lobby was beautiful in nice colors and there was a bar which we didn't try - next time! The breakfast deserves 5 stars, at least, It was just absolutely fantastic. Lots of sliced ​​fruit, a large selection of hot and cold together with ready-made spreads and lovely cakes. I can't think of anything more to wish for Very nice staff in all areas. Helpful and friendly. We will be happy to come again and can recommend it warmly! The location of the hotel could not be better!
