We had to change rooms twice due to maintenance issues. Our first room (703) had a leak under the kitchen sink, as well as a leak behind the toilet causing a water stain down the wall and a puddle on the floor. Our second room (505) had heavily soiled couch cushion covers, and couldn't be flipped because the underside was even worse. The bathroom sink had an extremely slow (almost stopped) drain, and even though we put in a call to have maintenance check it out, and hour and a half later, we had no response, and the front desk staff couldn't even reach maintenance to give us an ETA, so we cancelled the maintenance request as we needed to use the shower to get ready. Bad mistake, the shower drain was as bad, or even worse than, the bathroom sink. The drain was so slow, that we had to stop the shower every 5 minutes so that it would not overflow the very short lip they have to keep water in (and by the way, there's no shower door or curtain, just an open shower with glass on the shower head side, and an open area on the other). Our final room (402) seem to have everything in working order, but in all three rooms, the floors were completely filthy. My white socks I was wearing turned black on the bottom within minutes of walking around the room. The one bring spot of this whole experience was Karen at the front desk. She was very understanding, and did what she could to help us. Even the next day, she remembered, and asked if things were going better. Unfortunately, the same can not be said about her nighttime counterparts. The night desk staff was very uncaring, and in some cases downright rude. If it weren't for the excellent location, and the fact that we did eventually get a decent room to stay in, I would not think about returning to this facility again.
