Travelodge by Wyndham Depoe Bay

The room was great! They were able o upgrade us to a top floor room which had a great view of the ocean. The hotel is walking distance to all the shops. The room was nice and clean, and the staff are all very friendly as well. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy the view from the bridge here in town.

The room itself was pretty good, especially for a Travel Lodge. The pictures and view you see in our pictures is room 302. You enter on the 2nd level and either go down for the 1st level (I went down for ice and hall area is a little weird), stay on level 2 or go up for the 3rd floor. They DO have an elevator! Which was a nice surprise. Many similar motels to do not. We got there early and the office was locked up. Maid said that they were running errands and would be back at 3:00. They were back promptly at 3:00 and had a pleasant check in. Check in technically isn't until 4:00. The bed was super comfortable. Plenty of channels on the TV. Trees partially block the view of the bay, but I already knew that would be the case. Road noise from the highway, but it was nice having an actual terrace. Many do not, so that was a nice surprise. Fridge does not have a freezer, and the coffee pot is one of those single serve ones. Styrofoam cups. But again, it is a Travel lodge. Great location to be at what I consider "the end of the *****" and can easily walk the entire little ***** of eateries and shops. Also a Chevron and mini mart just two blocks north. I almost gave it 4 stars, but out of curiosity (as some reviews said their room was filthy) I pulled out the "white glove" and it is clear it is not deep cleaned often enough. So giving it 3 stars. With all of that said, if I needed to be in Depoe Bay and wanted to be able to walk everywhere, I would stay again. Would it be a destination vacation place to stay? No.

Stayed in several hotels in the Depoe Bay, Oregon area in the past. This Travelodge is the one we will return to again. Elevator for easy access from the parking lot behind the hotel if mobility is limited. The private balcony in each room overlooks the city park and breaking surf there. Watched whales "spout" offshore from the balcony, with complementary coffee in hand, as the fishing and tourist vessels went about their business. We've paid more for fewer advantages in other Depoe Bay hotels.

This is an old building on the highway We can hear the sound of the tv from next door. Cars and trucks kept us up all night. We thought Wyndham stands for quality hotels. We will not stay at Wyndham property again.

Ocean view hotel on a busy main street. Very walkable. Clean rooms. Solid surface floorimg. Clean bathroom. Balcony over looking the ocean. No air conditioning at all. Leave balcomy slider open for air. Traffic noise is loud and all night.(hwy 101). Pet friendly for $25 extra. But strict on leaving pets in a room or car

Great nights stay, Easy check in without reservations, friendly staff, clean rooms. Every room has spectacular views.

The hotel is good but the Service is bad and the cleaning is bad checking is not OK I tried to talk with the front desk, but they don’t care

There was a weird smell when we showered, it smelled like drainage. Stanked up the whole room. Also shouldnt put ocean view when the view is blocked by the trees, thats just street view
