As a solo female traveler, I stayed here three nights before going to Rishikesh for a yoga course. While Dehradun isn’t much of a sightseeing destination, I felt safe staying at The Hosteller. The staff were super helpful and the hostel vibe was jovial, consisting of local travelers keen to chat and play guitar/sing on the rooftop in the evening.

Room was super clean, very friendly staff and amazing services. Had a great experience here. One can easily spend some fun time in common room. You have nice games like table tennis etc and can watch movies too. In short had a super fun and relaxing experience here.

had an amazing experience at The Hosteller Dehradun! The vibe of the place is so warm and welcoming, and the facilities are top-notch. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The common areas are perfect for socializing with fellow travelers. A special shoutout to Avdhesh, the manager, who truly made my stay memorable. His hospitality, friendliness, and helpfulness were exceptional. He goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at home. The location is also perfect for exploring Dehradun. I highly recommend The Hosteller to anyone visiting the area, and I can’t wait to return!

I had an unexpectedly long stay at The Hosteller Dehradun, and the staff here has been exemplary! Avdhesh, Prateek, Nitish, Chandan and Amit have been very helpful and kind. Great service. Would highly recommend staying here, especially for solo female travellers! :)

It was excellent stay in Dorm as well as Private room also,Cool vibes and beautiful property.Staff is very cooperative and will do their best to serve you specially Avadesh manager guy at reception.Must try their cafe with tasty food and cool ambience.

Great experience I have ever had Avdhesh at the reception was super humble a gesture he gave that is outstanding, food was also delicious, I strongly suggested to you this place because this is the place where you feel relax. The best thing of this of hostel is Terrace where you can enjoy the night.

I had a wonderful stay at Hosteller Dehradun! The place itself is clean, comfortable, and has a great vibe for travelers, but what made my experience truly special was the manager, Avdesh. He is an amazing host—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. He interacts with travelers in a way that makes them feel at home, sharing local insights and experiences while maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor. It’s rare to find someone who balances warmth and professionalism so well! If you're looking for a place in Dehradun where you feel valued as a guest, this is it. Highly recommended!
