We enjoyed our stay at Perry’s! The indoor pool was great when the summer showers appeared! It is super close to Winn Dixie and Putt Putt

By far the best place to stay in Daytona. They have done a fantastic job renovating the property and rooms. Large rooms with 2nd room kitchen. Views were great and beds very comfortable. Bonus was the wonderful donuts for free every morning. I come to Daytona annually and this will be the only place I stay.

The location is perfect because it’s in super close walking distance to iHop, Winn Dixie, and 7Eleven. The beach was absolutely beautiful of course. Upon checking in I found the woman who checked us in to be less than pleasant, but maybe she was having a bad day—Honestly that’s not an excuse, but whatever it is what it is, we got checked in. Make sure you only bring 1 vehicle per car because they’re very strict on that rule. The parking lot is ridiculously small, but we made it work. The room was updated and though it wasn’t stated on the room description that it had a stove, it did have two flat surface burners on the counter which was great. The children’s room has no door, so if that bothers you bring a sheet. The bathroom needed to be cleaned better because the toilet was unclean especially on the outside around the bottom. The balcony is nice and big which I liked, but I would’ve liked it better had when I asked for an upper level they put me above level 2. The pools are nice, the outdoor pool is smaller than the indoor pool. The amenities are alright, they’ve got cornhole, golf, shuffleboard (all that I noticed). The bathrooms outside is nice and convenient because they’re close to the pools / patios. Would I book another room here— yeah I suppose. Oh, the Tiki bar has some nice affordable drinks as well— I’m not sure about the food though.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Everyone was friends. I highly recommend

This place is an absolute dump. Positive reviews are fake. We had reservations, but when we arrived and saw the clientele, we asked to see the room before checking in. Nasty!!! TripAdvisor helped us cancel our reservation. From the look on the manager’s face, this was not the first time this had happened.

Our first two weeks at Perry’s ! We have been coming since the early 80s. Love the work being done since the hurricane.

This property is old and not very well maintained by the owner. We had quite a few problems during our week stay but the maintenance staff (especially Akeem) was so conscientious, responded quickly, and helped with every issue. The Housekeeping staff was also very good. Issues: 1) Check-in is 4 p.m. but we couldn't get in the room until 4:45 p.m. after being in the lobby since 3. Immediately discovered a non-working TV but Akeem from Maintenance immediately brought us a new one with a better remote. The security lock was also broken and the daytime Maintenance crew fixed it immediately. 2) There is very limited parking for the South Bldg on the weekends. 3) Everything in the room was covered with a layer of moisture from the humidity. We requested and received a dehumidifier which we used for the week; it required emptying 2X per 24hrs. 4) The outside property is just a mess: no grass, just weeds and dirty sand, no landscaping, and piles of sand in front of the Tiki Hut (which is just a sad story itself). 5) Hallways, elevator, building exterior, breakfast room, etc. were in serious need of cleaning and upgrade. 6) There were a few tiny roaches in the bathroom 6 of the 7 nights we were there, even after being sprayed. 7) There are no tables with umbrellas in the enclosed pool area. Positives: The room was spacious and looked renewed with nice flooring (no update to the bathroom). The two queen beds were very comfy and clean. Housekeeping was very pleasant and accommodating with changing out towels whenever we asked. The location is great and we loved walking across the street to the best IHOP in Daytona Beach area!

Just terrible outdoor experience! It’s a mess! There are hotel and resorts that look perfect now! It’s so overpriced and fenced up all over the place! Sticker plants that get you even with shoes on. Air conditioning froze up and nothing to bake on. We spent a lot of time getting this straightened out which took a lot of precious beach time away. The back of the property took away from looking at the beach. If you go here plan on renting chairs and umbrella so you can enjoy your visit. Stay off the property backyard because it’s awful! This use to be such a beautiful place but not anymore.

This hotel was disgusting our room had roaches, the pool was dirty, we never saw a pool cleaner, the internet didn’t work at all. The storm wall here has not been replaced. All together it looks like they have let the place go. I wouldn’t suggest that anyone ever stay here.
