Sleep Inn & Suites Dayton South

The room and beds were clean and comfortable. However the room door didn't close and latch on it's own weight and had to be pushed or pulled closed. It took a very long time to get hot water for a shower. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with general choices. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, toast, bagels, cereal were all available and I have to say the coffee was delicious. The hotel was clean the staff I encountered were nice and helpful the parking and location was convenient.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. There was no jelly for biscuits, no coffee machine, and limited food options, but they did have a waffle maker. The lighting in the room and bathroom was very dim, but the room was nice and the bed comfortable. The room was hot when we arrived because the AC was turned off, but otherwise we had a good stay.

Overall, the Hotel was clean and nice. A few minor issues… Our room did have some kind of a smell. I’m not sure if it was some sort of deodorizer or what, but it was not too pleasant. It wasn’t strong, but could definitely be smelled. The only other thing was the water from the shower didn’t have very much pressure, (we were on the 3rd floor). Also the water was either kinda too hot or too cold. Hard to get a good happy medium. Last thing was the water was not draining well as I was taking a shower. It took quite a while for the water to drain out. Please fix those things and it will be an overall wonderful experience to stay in your Hotel. 😊 God bless

Made reservations for a handicap/ADA compliant room but it wasn’t. I requested a roll in/walk in shower but the room had a TUB. My wife can not raise her legs to reach over the tub. Sleep Inn system stated it was handicapped, all it had was a grab bar next to the toilet. And no other available handicap rooms because of new construction.

Nobody at the front desk. Waited 10 minutes, looked around, called and got machine. Finally somebody came in a car to help us check in. She was very nice and efficient. Tried to take a hot shower - no hot water. The directions posted in bathroom are NOT CORRECT. It shows the handle all the way right for cold (which is correct) and all the way left for hot - which is wrong. The handle needs to be in the center to get hot water. Sadly didn't discover that until it was too late and we were leaving.

The staff was nice but my fridge didn't work and there was no cable for a day and a half. Also the water took a good 10 min to get hot. I was half done with a cold shower before it got warm

Parking was excellent. I did not use the gym because I have my own exercise routine.

The staff was courteous. The room was clean and amenities perfectly adequate. The mattress was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately walls are so thin, could here people talking loudly next door, till wee hours. Free breakfast - adequate offerings and tasty enough. Highly recommend Carrabelle's restaurant next door, for a good lunch or dinner out!

Room was clean, ready when arrived (actually a few minutes early). Very friendly staff checked us in. The room and bathroom could use some brighter lighting. We could not find a channel lineup for the TV. There were no USB connections for easy charging, etc. I would definitely stay there again. Walls seemed very thin, we could hear a young child crying a lot, which woke us up early. It appeared to have low occupancy, so it would have been nice if they had staggered room assignments, therefore avoiding disturbing noises. We were there on a Thursday night, so otherwise it was quite stay (other than the crying child). Again, I would definitely stay again!
