Good location in the downtown, near restaurants, bars, waterfront parks and other attractions. Reasonable pricing. Easy booking. Very nice bed, bedding, shower & sprayer, bath tub, toliet and bathroom well stocked with supplies. Kureg Coffee Maker & coffee and botted water supplied. The rooftop level has large indoor bar, tables and couches. There is also a large outdoor area with tables and seating. Both indoor and outdoor areas on rooftop were packed on the Sat evening in mid-May when I stayed there.

The staff was very friendly, and the hotel amenities were great! The room had a cool chaise and was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

The Current We stayed for one night and it was great. This is a converted old 7 or 8 story office building one block from the Mississippi River. Downtown Davenport has been rehabbed and is all by itself worth the visit. Our hotel room on the 5th floor was perfect. The room overlooks downtown and has a decent view of the river. Our room was large and the bed was good. The bath had LOTS of room with both a shower and tub. A TV screen imbedded in the bath mirror was interesting and unusual. The check in and out was excellent and both times the attendants were focused on their customer. Parking is right across the street with easy access to the hotel. We were very pleased with our stay and certainly would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a true gem. Comfort, great staff, and nice amenities. My visit began with a very early arrival due to an early flight. I knew I was well ahead of the check-in time but I had a full afternoon of remote work. Helene greeted me at the desk and apologized no room was ready. I knew I was early so no worries. I did ask if there might be a quiet spot where I could work for a few hours. I was quickly directed to a very private area on the first floor where I spent several hours in a bright and sunny space. When I got to my room I found it loaded with great features. It was much larger than I expected. AC was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The best feature was likely the rooftop bar/restaurant. It opened each day at 4:00 with some drinks at 1/2 off. Luck was with me that both days of my visit were sunny and warm. What a treat to end the day with a cold beer, in the warm sun, and a fantastic view of the Mississippi River. This is likely one of the best hotel experiences I have had in years ... many years. Parking was easy across the street for $12 but both days I was off site and did not return until after the on street 2 hour parking limit expired for the day. I was able to easily find on street parking at, or after 4:00, which resulted in free parking. I left a review directly with the hotel and received a personal communication from the Front Office Manager. I highly recommend the Current Iowa.

This hotel is TOP notch! I enjoyed the exquisite room and amazing roof top restaurant. The view was gorgeous and we enjoyed the sunset every evening. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to all! The hotel was classy, fun and a blast to stay at! I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

Fantastic hotel with tremendous decor, style and ambiance. The rooftop bar is not to be missed with its firetables and views overlooking the riverfront. Beds are comfortable, and each room is thoughtfully styled. Dakota at the bar was fun and engaging. Every employee we talked to loved working at the hotel which is a great sign of a well-managed property. There is a bakery at the hotel and the hotel restaurants serve fresh homemade breads baked on premise. Only suggestions: needed a more substantial menu for the restaurant for dinner.

The staff at the hotel did not attend to our needs and were rude! When we checked in, we were told the was no parking available for the night. We were there on a Saturday night, 7:30pm just 30 minutes before our dinner reservation at 8:00pm. Thats when we learned we would have to find a place to park on the street. GOOD LUCK! Or we could park at the local ramp for $10.00. Really? They have 40 parking spaces for the entire hotel! You pay $222 for one night and basic room with NO PARKING! When we asked to talk to the Manager, we were told we would need to talk to him in the morning. The next morning, we did talk to Isaac Pena, Front Office Manager. This conversation proved to be a complete waste of time as Issac did not care about our parking experience and did nothing to solve our concern after spending $222. We could care less about the $10.00 it was the fact that they have this as a company decision to tell the Guest at the time of check in they can spend their time to look for a spot on the street or pay someone else for the bad amenities the hotel is happy to make it your problem to find a spot for your car. So, for $10.00 we can BE UNHAPPY! There are 50 other places you can stay with parking provided right outside the front door in Davenport and without the bad management skills to deal with. As a Platinum Elite Member, YOU DO NOT WANT TO STAY HERE! Not even if the room was FREE, the staff and Managment there will not make your stay a nice experience. I will not go back! We will plan our next stay in Davenport at the BLACK HAWK HOTEL, spend the extra $30 to experience a real hotel where they care about your stay. Mark E- Galena, IL

This was a really nice, quirky, urbane spot in downtown Davenport. The artwork around the hotel was really cool. The room (201) was very large with a very comfortable bed, huge bathroom, and amazing windows. It was a really nice find in the city and walkable to the Figge Art Museum, restaurants, bars, and the riverfront. Parking is in a lot across the street. Front desk staff was a bit aloof but professional and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

First stay here. Last time I stayed at the Blackhawk (same GM) and it was very nice old school classy property. The current is more modern (but in an older building) and I enjoyed the stay. It can be a bit noisy (like the BH) with trains and road noise. I liked the room very well and the bed was comfy. Staff were great. Nice lobby bar. Easy parking across the street.
