I booked this hotel on the app and it had changed my booking day from Feb 24 to Feb 25. That was not my intention. I noticed this as I was paying and tried to log out before payment was completed but it didnt work. I was booked for Sun Feb 25 but needed Sat Feb 24 to fit my travel plants. I contacted trip.com via chat imeediately and they tried to change the dates for me, not cancel, just move the dates but hotel mgt/owner "refused" claiming this is a not modification booking. Then another rep called them and tried but still they would not help. It was actually more of an app error anyway than me hitting the wrong date! I also checked and their rooms weren’t' full either day, the hotel just didn't care to help me. So, I had to change my travel plans or waste the money for a night's stay. This is very bad customer service! For the reason, I would be careful when using trip,com and also this hotel. Pls note that in the more than a dozen countries I've traveled to other platforms can modify a booking with a compelling reason.
