We went there on a motorbike, and when we arrived the lady popped her head out of the window and told us that unless we're overnight guests we shouldn't bother coming in for a drink / dinner. Even though the restaurant and the terrace was half full with plenty of space...

Hemelvaartsweekend obv halfpension. Pluspunten: prima kamer in bijgebouw, zowel ontbijt (zeer uitgebreide keuze) als diner smaakten prima. Verbeterpunten: gastvrijheid, voorbijgangers gaan voor op hotelgasten qua eten en drinken, sleutel werd na 10 minuten wachten bij receptie in onze handen geduwd en korte aanwijzing waar je kamer is. Kwam waarschijnlijk door de "drukte" van Hemelvaart. Veel aanrijdende motorgroepen die bleven eten. Wifi zeer slecht ondanks extra wifipunt op de gang. Valt bij beetje bezetting uit. Omgeving prachtig. Elke ochtend vrolijk vogelgezang, prachtige natuur en rust. Voor boodschapjes en wat vertier richting Linz am Rhein rijden, dan noordwaarts tot aan Bonn. Of andere kant op naar Neustadt en daar lekker wandelen. Wandelroutes staan goed aangegeven. Goed om te weten: Drankjes en dergelijke moeten meteen afgerekend en kunnen niet op de kamer gezet worden. Halfpension: keuze uit twee hoofdgerechten. Voor en na is bepaald door hotel. Veel motorrijders komen hier even aanwaaien. Groot buitenterras, biergarten Cash en pinbetalingen zijn mogelijk Voor herhaling vatbaar?.....nou....nee. Niet voor ons. Krijgt van voordeeluitjes een 8. Hoe dan? Prijs kwaliteitverhouding is echt ok. Maar wij komen niet verder dan een 6,5.
