Fui a Datong para ver las grutas de Yungang. Cuando llegué a la estación sur de Datong, elegí el Hotel Mercure, que está muy cerca de la estación de tren de alta velocidad. Llegué a la estación de tren de alta velocidad muy tarde, a las 10 de la noche, y no había nada para comer. Frente al hotel había dos fideos cortados a cuchillo para solucionar el problema de la cena. El servicio del hotel es muy bueno, las instalaciones son todas nuevas y avanzadas, la experiencia de alojamiento es de primera clase y la cadena hotelera está garantizada.

We were warmly greeted by friendly staff upon arrival, making us feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the team went the extra mile to help us register on their app as we are foreigners, ensuring we could easily access Wi-Fi and contact them if needed.
We had called ahead to request a humidifier and air purifier, and were pleased to find them already prepared in our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of an electric toilet with a heated seat was a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter season.
Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and sincere in their service, always making sure we were well taken care of. We initially planned to stay from 6/12/24 to 8/12/24 but felt so at home that we decided to extend our stay for an additional two days.
A big thank you to the team at Mecure Hotel for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Me and my Husband had agreed this is best hotel in our 17 days China trip. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning in the future. Great job!

The service was good, the breakfast also good and so was the staff. Friendly and kind!
Initially we received a family room which has been smoked in previously although it was a NON smoking room. We were so tired that evening that we did not change room. The next evening the staff offered us another room and kindly helped us to move our luggage. Note, there was an ashtray in the NON smoking room as well.

Very clean and modern rooms. Close to Train Station and therefore a good Choice for the Late checkout as well as going to the hanging temple (slightly better than from city center)
