Designed by the team of Li Yizhong, the courtyard retains the local architectural charm, with the building's structure fully preserving the ecological essence of the original site. Featuring blue bricks and gray tiles, the courtyard-style layout embodies the unique design style of the homestay, as well as its integration of spatial values and the cultural heritage of the ancient city into the identity of the younger generation. The living room is furnished like a miniature home, with soft fabric sofas, lounge chairs, a pair of ceramic jars, a few flower branches, and a scattering of vintage items. Under the warm orange lighting and the glow of the fireplace, the imagery of natural aesthetics and the tranquility of a secluded retreat permeate every corner of the space, like the subtle fragrance of agarwood. Inside the rooms, traditional Chinese paintings, wabi-sabi dried branches, and simple cups and plates exude a charm that is retro yet not outdated, minimalist yet sophisticated.
