The location is great nearby the main street.
I think the hotel is a bit overpriced for what you’re getting.
The staff is very friendly, sometimes a bit too friendly and knock or your door or call your room phone with the question if you need anything and then expect a tip.

The warmest experience I ever had, it felt a home out of home. Everybody is so kind, caring and all the positive adjectives you can think of. I am so happy that I chose Snowlion Homestay. The view of Kanchenjunga from terrace is just wow. I am staying here again when I visit Darjeeling.

We booked the attic view room which is just perfect for 4 people. The view from the balcony is stunning! One doesn't need to go to tiger hill. :D The owner is really a humble ***, the staffs are extremely courteous and helpful. I left my specs and scarf at the balcony by mistake and checked out but they kept it safely and handed it to my friend who was in Darjeeling the next day. Extremely neat and clean rooms with all amenities you can expect from a good homestay. Location of the homestay is very good, not far from mall. One can easily walk up to the mall whenever required. For the attic room one has to climb up to the 5th floor so not recommended for elderly people but best room for couples and friends. Highly recommended. I'll always keep this homestay as my first preference whenever I'm in Darjeeling.

Small cozy well maintained rooms but too small for a couple. bed sheets were clean, bathroom is exceptionally small. breakfast is fresh and tasty. location is very good as its just 600-700 mts walking distance from mall road view point. overall 3.5/5

We have a lovely experience staying at snow lion homestay. In past we stay their so that's why i chose to stay their this time we had a great time and it's feel like we are in our home actually.

Located in mid city and easily accessible, property is also maintained nicely and has spacious corridors and staircase. Spacious room and supportive staff, but furniture, and bathroom may require little improvement.

All good except the fact that nobody picked up calls if we called from the land line in the room. We had to call them from our phone everytime to ensure we got the service. But all over they were very helpful and they were well behaved.
