Great location. They offer rooms with breakfast which is a great offer. Tasty breakfast and cosy rooms with great hospitality makes this ordinary place extraordinary. Swimming pool is not very big but located in a nice place with calm surroundings.

This was a reasonable hotel but the people need to understand English as they told me breakfast was free providing it was just breakfast food. I had coffee and egg but when I was told I had to pay I did not eat. They put it in a cardboard box but I left it there They complained to the tour guide who somehow fixed it. But very poor service to say one thing and then change your mind

I actually really liked this hotel, but I’m marking them down because of the overzealous security guards who refused to let us back into the hotel after returning from dinner! Yes, I suppose we should be pleased that they are vetting who comes and goes, but even after showing our room keys they still refused to let us enter! If our tour guide hadn’t been close at hand, we’d probably have been sleeping on the street that night! Positives: Central location. Compact rooms, but clean and well appointed. Good wifi signal in rooms. Comfortable. Good shower. Negatives: Shower tray wasn’t deep enough, so bathroom ended up becoming a wet room. No breakfast. Security guards!

Got a chance to taste many types of authentic Srilankan curries especially the fish. The food was tasty and delicious, the ambience and staff added to the experience. The desserts were also good. Overall, a great experience with reasonable prices.

Lovely hotel with excellent welcoming staff. The food was exceptional and the floor staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent with comfortable beds and everything was provided. Lovely place to stay.

After a challenging day hiking Sigiriya Lion's Rock, we were absolutely exhausted, and saw this hotel as we were passing by wondering where to stay over the night. The lights were out when we arrived, power shortage in the place, due to what's happening in SL. We had our dinner, which I and my friend actually liked (we both are very picky with food). It's corn soup, egg fried rice, deviled chicken and then pork. The one incharge offered one of their best rooms and we were both comfortable. Clean linens, complete with towel and toiletries. Comes with a hair dryer and mini bar. It has a choice of coffee and tea also. Just be ready with your cash (LKR or $) as the card machine isn't working for overseas accts. *********** also got some issues, as it's showing my booking pushed through, and my CC got deducted, but as per the front desk, it's not paid yet.. Took long to fix, hence ended up paying cash. Tho it was bit of a process, mngr was so nice, and promised to return the money if ever I got double charged. Check out has no issues. Just be ready to carry your luggage as they don't have a lift. But no worries, as you can request the guys to carry it for you. 1 thing to be aware of. Wifi is good in certain areas only. (Restaurant and lobby). I happened to have a zoom meeting that night, and wifi can't reach our room. Ended up doing it in the lobby. We forgot to take photos of the room as we were too exhausted. I highly recommend this place due to: 1. Tasty food 2. Value for money 3. Nice mannered staffs 4. Relaxing place. Big rooms

No WiFi was an issue for us. Room quite nice - tv nice and clean . No hot water. Asked for towels for the pool - said we can’t go in - Sri Lankan people in the pool & covid. Food ok - staff friendly- situated on a main road - quite basic but we were on a tour so not sure of the cost - it must have been cheap!
