Everything was perfect, it felt like home, very nice staff and service, calm and cozy feeling, really enjoyed every second… The breakfast was yummy everyday, and the neighborhood is central near Bab Touma, yet a bit hidden, giving it a quiet vibe which was perfect, you could only hear the fountain. Would be staying again for sure

There’s a reason this place has great reviews - it’s one of the most unique, delightful, lovingly crafted hotels I’ve stayed at. Professionally and meticulously cared for and staffed, expect a lovely and safe stay here at this hotel. It’s in a great location with major sites of old Damascus within a walks distance.

Beit Zafran is everything you could wish for in a hotel. It is aesthetically stunning, from the flower-filled fountain in the central courtyard to the ceilings and wardrobes in the rooms. Even the breakfast is beautiful (and delicious). Every member of the team is kind and responsive. The location is also perfect: right in the Old City, but tucked away in a quiet corner and close enough to Bab Touma that it's easy to get in and out by taxi. Can't recommend highly enough!

The place is georgous: an old house that kept its beauty and has been renovated with taste and all modern comfort. The team is wonderful: professional, dedicated, extremely supportive and never intrusive. It is very well located: in a perfectly calm street, a few minutes walk from the main attractions, in a very safe and animated neighbourhood. I look forward to visiting again!

Our stay at Beit Zafran was nothing short of amazing. The architecture of this Ottoman mansion, restored to perfection, is a sight to behold. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making the experience feel incredibly authentic. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay. The breakfast was sumptuous, a perfect start to the day in Damascus. Highly recommended, and without a doubt, my first choice whenever I'm in this part of the city.

It’s the most beautiful hotel in Damascus. In the heart of the old town with spacious beautiful rooms. Some even with balcony which is rare in Damascus. Adnan, the owner, makes sure that you feel at home there. I definitely would like to come back there. Absolutely recommended !

I had an amazing two-day stay at Bayt Za'faran Hotel! The experience was truly special, as they offer a unique opportunity to live in a traditional Damascuse house. The ambiance and authentic details made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to experience the charm of a historic Arabic home!

I have been to Beit Zafran many times. Alone and with friends. As always, Beit Zafran has maintained its very very high level. It is a beautiful beit, cared for in every little detail. You don't feel like a guest, but a friend. Pampered and spoiled. I can't wait to go back...
