Xilamuren Grassland Tourism Resort

Staying at Xilamuren Grassland Tourism Resort was one of the most heartwarming and memorable parts of my journey in Inner Mongolia. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and perfect for the grassland atmosphere. I truly appreciated the attention to detail in every service – from check-in to meals and daily activities. The resort provided everything I needed for a comfortable and immersive experience. But what made this place stand out most was the hospitality of the host. The owner was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt at home – and that’s something you don’t find everywhere. If you're looking for a genuine local experience, with both comfort and connection, I highly recommend this resort. 5/5 for service, accommodation, food, and especially the amazing host.

Review for Xilamuren Grassland Tourism Resort: I had high expectations for the Xilamuren Grassland Tourism Resort, but unfortunately, my experience fell far below what was promised. Upon arrival, I was informed that the advertised accommodation was unavailable, and I was relocated to a completely different location over 7 kilometers away. The new accommodation was not at the standard I had booked—it lacked the promised amenities, such as entertainment or the unique cultural atmosphere I was expecting, and it was more like a simple room in a house, with people smoking outside the bedroom door where my 5 year old son was sleeping.. This lack of communication and transparency was highly disappointing, as I specifically chose this resort to enjoy the grassland experience and its unique offerings. To add to the inconvenience, I incurred additional costs for transportation, which could have been avoided if the resort had informed me in advance. While the natural beauty of the surrounding area is undeniable, the overall management and organization at the resort need significant improvement. I would urge the resort to improve their communication with guests, provide accurate information about availability, and ensure that customers get what they paid for. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this resort based on my experience. It’s essential for travelers to be aware of these issues before booking.

The surrounding prairie is so peaceful! The staff were very helpful & accommodating for this solo laowai, and the yurt was nice & comfortable. I saw a couple of negative reviews on here from users who don't seem to understand the reality of 'remote'. If you want a spotless luxury spa, go stay in a city! But if you want a comfortable place to stay out on the grasslands, stay here :)

Not worth the effort. The bathroom smell was so terrible it was almost impossible to sleep.

最好自備一次性拖鞋和洗漱用品。房間配一次性浴巾和牙具。床品的衞生有待提高。景色是真的好，給安排的第一排，直麪草原，晚上活動也很豐富。門外看夕陽太美了。停車出行也很方便。直接從度假村買紅格爾敖包的表演套票很實惠，還可以去訂騎馬。
