Dalian Jinshi Designer B&B is located in Xinghai Xintiandi in Xinghai Square, surrounded by mountains and seas, with pleasant scenery. It is the starting point of Binhai Road, the most beautiful scenic spot in Dalian, and it is a 1-minute walk to the seaside. The top terrace overlooks the sea and mountain views of Xinghai Bay, and the spectacular view of the sea-crossing bridge is in full view, where you can watch the sunrise and sunset by the sea and enjoy the sea breeze on your face. The guest room is equipped with a 6 cm zero-pressure mattress and softened water for bathing. The furniture is mainly made of solid wood, rattan weaving, cotton and linen. The back-to-basics decoration style will make your body and mind relax in this hustle and bustle of the city, and enjoy the unique artistic charm of Jinshi.

The hotel is newly renovated with very nice decoration and high quality materials. Unfortunately the room type I booked was not available and I got upgraded to a room which was not quite matching my expectations (too dark and looking directly into the next building) still a nice room. For this the hotel manager offered me a complementary breakfast. The terrace on the roof has a great view! I will return in the hotel if I go to Dalian again.

I have been to a lot of hotels, AirBnBs and homestay in China but none have had the fineness, hospitality, cleanliness or comfort of Dalian Jinshi Designer Homestay. The staff is more than friendly, accommodating and enthusiastically friendly. As a foreigner who has been living in China for almost 6 years now it’s refreshing to find an accommodation that offers you services beyond your expectations. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants and expects a great and comfortable vacation. If I’m ever in Dalian again, be it with or without friends, I’ll definitely stay at the same place. Thanks to all the staff for their friendly hospitality. 10 stars and beyond to this place!!

Place was pretty clean, but without a whole lot of amenities.
The location is great if you’re traveling with a family and need access to the amusement park, but was surprisingly quiet at night.
Not too far out of the downtown via taxi, and close to nature, but if you want to experience the city itself it’s a bit out.

Really lovely hotel. It's right by the beginning of the seaside walk, and close to Xinghai square. If you want a seaside break the location is perfect; but if you want to be in the centre it's about 20 min by car.
The rooms are gorgeous, beautifully designed, clean and with lots of great touches - love the big refillable bottles of toiletries to avoid plastic waste; great hairdryer. Really comfy bed and just generally felt like a luxurious stay. The terrace is stunning, they could easily make it into a rooftop bar.
Didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on it, but the coffee was decent.

Good location. Comfy bed. Terrace with a very cool view. Simple wonton soup breakfast available for purchase. I would suggest the hotel to replace the screen projector in the room because it was slow and making a weird noise

Had a wonderful experience with Jinshi Designer with bright and helpful staff who came out to greet us right from our first step into the lobby.
Service was beyond excellent, and the rooms were beautifully set up. Definitely recommended!
