Gorgeous hotel. Very elegantly designed and detailed.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious.
The view is stunning. We had a sunrise view from the bed, so we left the curtains open at night to let the beautiful sky wake us up in the morning.
Location is perfect. One of the few properties around Lake Erhai to have direct access to the water, without being blocked by roads or promenades.
There are other similar waterfront properties in the other peninsula, but Pusu is more accessible and closer to the main town.
These two southern peninsulas are classy locations, far from the noisy and overly touristy parts of Shuanglang north of the ferry terminal.

The best hotel I've ever stayed. We booked family suite for 3 adults. The room has a balcony and direct view to Erhai Lake. We can see direct sunrise from our room and we just walk downstairs then we are already at the lake, the famous 'Sheng Tai Lang Dao' where u could rent bike to ride along the lake.
The hotel is located at a very peaceful environment at Caicun. We had free pick up service from the train station. When arrived, we were given welcome drinks, welcome fruit basket, and also tea time voucher. They even served us hot milk during the night to our room before we dozed off! The service is superb! 😍
Hotel facilities is super good. There is washing machine and dryer at the top most floor, hence we get to clean our clothes. Apart from that, our room toilet bowl is a smart toilet, which has heater on the seat and has butt cleaning and drying services 😂
The room also has Marshall speaker where we could connect via bluetooth, super high tech air purifier and hair dryer. We even have a tea corner in our room!
The last day we were rushing off for train, despite noy breakfast time yet, the hotel allow us to takeover some ready food. Totally appreciate it.

Room size is pretty standard but toilet/shower area is quite big. During winter, I hope that they have a heated bed but thanks to Dali weather, all is good. The location of this hotel is amazingg, right infront of Erhai lake. You can rent bicycle for 40 yuan but somehow you cannot rent a scooter coz they need an ID for that. This hotel provide simple breakfast like porridge, stir-fry vegetable, eggs, etc. The landscape of the hotel is also beautiful. Just be prepared to carry your own luggage upstairs as they do have elevator. I somehow still recommend this hotel due to its location.

Cinco puntos no son suficientes para expresar mi amor por esta posada. El alojamiento está muy limpio y se han cuidado muchos detalles, hay una bañera en la habitación, que es muy cómoda para darse un baño después de un día de compras. El pequeño patio está exquisitamente diseñado. Lo más importante es que está lleno de toque humano. El clima no era bueno cuando fui allí. Después de visitar la antigua ciudad por la noche, regresé al B&B. El jefe, naturalmente, me invitó a venir a tomar el té. tomando té, habló sobre por qué hizo el B&B y algunas cosas interesantes sobre el té y el café. Por cierto, me recomendó varias librerías y cafés únicos en Kunming (también los visité más tarde, lo cual fue realmente muy interesante). Un gran lugar para alojarse por su comodidad y servicio. Además de estar limpio y tener buena calefacción en invierno, el anfitrión ofrece té a los huéspedes cuando llegan o después de un largo día (sin pedirte que lo compres), recomienda un itinerario si lo necesitas e incluso organiza el transporte a mi siguiente destino.

La ciudad antigua está a 10-15 minutos a pie y hay muchas joyas en el camino.
Recomiendo mucho este lugar y, sin duda, me alojaré allí de nuevo si vuelvo.
Consejo: ponte en contacto con el hotel con antelación para que te ayuden con el equipaje, ya que el camino hasta el hotel no es adecuado para llevar equipaje y no se puede acceder a él en coche.

Visited shuanglang with my mum, stayed 3 nights here and it’s simply fantastic. The service is impeccable - staff are on stand by all the time, ready to assist in all matters. They thought through the visitors experience and provided breakfast, tea, turn down services and post dinner desserts every night. We got 2 free cocktails per night too! Room is amazing - we got lucky and had a free upgrade to one of their best suites with amazing views of erhai! The beautiful room has a cool skylight, spacious balcony/toilet (particularly love their plushy bedroom slippers) and very comfortable bed - all of which are all a big plus. The hotel is sited right in the heart of the small town, making exploration so much easier too! Breakfast was great too, different menu everyday. They will serve a set of breakfast items (refillable) and have a small buffet table set up for fruits and small bites. Food is always delicious and warm, especially complemented with the amazing view at the dining area! Overall a 20 out of 10 for me, it’s a must stay if you are visiting Shuanglang! A big shout out to the amazing hotel crew, thanks for the memorable experience!

Booked a 3 bedroom hotel cum residence apartment for 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Location was fantastic, in the middle of restaurants and facing Erhai Lake. The 2 of the bedrooms had an enquire bathroom with bathtub. The last had a basic toilet right beside the room. Well equipped with amenities, including full kitchenette (although there were no cutlery provided), a small backyard to wash & hang dry clothes, huge dinning and living space.
Hotel staffs were also very friendly and helpful. We arrived Dali by train, and the hotel arranged for a 9 seater vehicle to pick us. The hotel breakfast buffet was also a spread, we truly enjoyed our time here. A pity was we visited around early April and the wind was really huge and chilly so we couldn't spend much time in the balcony.
Other than that, everything else was great! Highly recommend to big groups who wants to stay together.
Also do note to get the wechat contact of the hotel via trip.com. much easier for communication.

SSiu QuanWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages.
However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang.
After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!

UUsuario invitadoWe had the pleasure of staying at Erhai Xinglai Lakeview Inn in picturesque Dali, and our experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment we booked, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality, calling us to arrange for complimentary pickup from the airport.
Important tip: Dali's cobblestone streets can be challenging for luggage, so be sure to call the hotel in advance to arrange for their free pickup service.
Upon arrival, we were treated to a delightful tea break, complete with fresh fruits and fragrant rose tea. Witnessing the chef meticulously prepare the fruit platter for 30 minutes was a testament to the hotel's attention to detail and commitment to excellence. It's clear that every aspect of our stay was crafted with love.
The hotel offers thoughtful amenities, including:

- Nighttime milk service, delivering warm milk to your doorstep before bed
- Cozy library with an impressive selection of adult fiction, non-fiction, and children's books

MMeg_thehungrytravelerWe throughly enjoyed our stay at Moss Lake Inn. It is a quiet hotel located on the lake. Our view every morning was absolutely stunning. Breakfast is a traditional Chinese breakfast with noodles and various dim sum. It was refreshing coming back in the evenings to a small snack from the hotel that generally included warm milk and fresh fruit. The bed is very comfortable. The owner and staff and very kind and will help you to the best of their abilities. I would highly recommend this hotel.

MMMC LI had the pleasure of staying at the Dali Jinze Xiaoyuan Inn (Dali Ancient City South Gate), and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The inn’s location is ideal—just a short 5-minute walk from the South Gate of Dali Ancient City, making it extremely convenient for exploring the bustling pedestrian streets and local attractions. Despite being so close to the heart of the city, the inn offers a peaceful and quiet retreat.
The rooms were modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I particularly appreciated the intelligent features like the automatic heated toilets, blackout curtains, and sensor night lights. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and there was always plenty of hot water, temperature is just right which added to the comfort after a long day of sightseeing.
What really made the stay exceptional was the hospitality of the host and staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my trip was memorable, offering valuable tips on local attractions, dining options, and even helping with transportation arrangements. Their warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. I’ll never forget the relaxing evening spent chatting with the host over a cup of Chinese tea.
The inn is also close to a charming vegetable market and a street filled with delicious local food options, which made dining out and picking up fresh produce incredibly easy.
Overall, Dali Jinze Xiaoyuan Inn is the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and outstanding service from the host Xiao Liang.

Bbbbbbbear¡Hacía mucho tiempo que no comentaba un post tan largo con fotos! El servicio de Zuodu es muy bueno ~ ¡todos los detalles están en su lugar! Elegí este hotel específicamente para pasar la noche en el cumpleaños de mi novio, gracias al hotel nos pasaron a una habitación con vista al mar al amanecer y un pequeño jardín. Gracias a Beauty Zhang por encargarme un pastel pequeño. El paisaje fuera del hotel es fantástico. Hay poca gente y es tranquilo. Los clientes del hotel también pueden andar en bicicleta sin depósito. El paisaje cerca del hotel también es increíble. ¡Sería aún mejor si hubiera sol! YYas_miniI read almost every review before booking this and all of them praised the hygiene and cleanliness of the place. However this was not the case with the room I booked. You can refer to the pictures.
The room could really do with maintenance. The cleaning and sanitization were not of an effective manner. The cleaning staff would basically sweep and change the bins that’s it. The bathroom really needed some care. Every single towel I was given had brown stains and marks on them. The throw on the bed had food stains.
The walls had blood stains. And the basin unit hadn’t been wiped and had marks on it. The couch also had marks and stains on it. The buns both looked like they hadn’t been sanitized or washed in ages and had marks. At things the bathroom had a sewage smell and the bedding smelt of old cigarettes smoke.
Some more care and attention to simple hygiene and cleaning would go a long way.
The sound insulations was so poor that every time someone used the bathroom upstairs it could make a huge noise which was very loud.
The bed however was comfy and the hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. It’s in a good location to the old town.
But for the price I made I could have got a better place which included breakfast! Simply feel ripped off.
