Me atendió el hotel Pullman en Dali durante dos noches. Me impresionó mucho el servicio del personal, especialmente el del señor Edison.
El día que llegué, mi equipaje estaba roto. Él pudo aconsejarme dónde podía comprar uno nuevo y también se ocupó de mi equipaje y lo trajo a mi habitación cuando la habitación estaba lista. Siempre me informó y me atendió muy bien.

Nuestra habitación no estaba bien limpia. Había pelos por todas partes: en el baño, alrededor de las columnas e incluso en la mesa del sofá. Estaba llena de polvo. Incluso encontramos pestañas postizas en el baño que no eran nuestras.

The location is close to Dali Railway Station but quite far from Santorini Dali and Dali Ancient City. I rate the location as excellent because, realistically, you can’t have everything perfect, so we chose the one nearest to the railway station. Overall, everything was good, and the staff, or perhaps the owner, was attentive at first.
However, on the day we were leaving, we were supposed to check out at 12 PM. I couldn’t reach the staff to store my luggage (I wasn’t sure where the storage was). So, we went about our day and headed to Longkan Wharf, returning at 12:04 PM. To my surprise, the lock had automatically changed right at 12 PM, which I wasn’t informed about, and our luggage was still inside the hotel. We had a train to catch at 12:56 PM.
I tried contacting the hotel via WeChat, but no one responded. We asked the guard for help, but he couldn’t do much except try calling the owner, who didn’t answer. Finally, around 1 PM, the owner responded, saying his phone was broken. Unfortunately, we missed our train.
I acknowledge it was my fault for not checking out exactly at 12 PM, but the lack of response from the owner left us without a place to store our luggage. Next time, it would be helpful if the hotel informed guests about the lock system and responded promptly to messages.
That was our bad experience. If it hadn’t happened, I would have rated the stay a solid 5/5. But, things happen.

SS00001In all my years of solo traveling around China and other countries, I’ve never stayed at a homestay quite as enchanting as this one. The cleanliness isn’t just limited to the rooms, the entire place is spotless.
The location is perfect for a first-time visit to Dali, just a five-minute walk from the ancient city. Since it’s outside the ancient city, it’s close enough to explore on foot while still allowing easy access to cabs. The amenities were excellent, featuring a Xiaomi smart room ecosystem made my stay even more comfortable.
However, what truly stood out was the service. From the moment I arrived, the 三个帅哥 and 美女 running the homestay made me feel incredibly welcome. They offered me an upgrade to the best room available, took the time to propose an itinerary based on my stay duration, introduced me to the adorable homestay pets (two dogs and a cat), and warmly invited me to spend time with them whenever I wanted (a small but meaningful gesture when you’re far from home and solo traveling).
Their hospitality extended beyond just conversations and recommendations. As the weather turned cold during my stay, they prepared ginger soup one evening for the guests, which seemed to me a very thoughtful touch. They also offer afternoon tea with waffles, fruit, and flower pastries until 5pm.
I’m super grateful for their kindness and service, and I really hope to return in the future :)

FFabiolaOmg! The view from this hotel was absolutely breathtaking. It was such a peaceful place with a very clean room and a wonderful bath to relax in. The staff were incredibly attentive. I can speak Chinese, but even if you don’t, they message you on WeChat before your stay, so you can easily translate everything automatically.
They also gave us some lovely welcome gifts that I absolutely loved! We ate some during our stay, and I brought the rest back to Australia because they were so delicious. I won’t spoil what they were so you can enjoy the surprise for yourself.
Our package included breakfast and afternoon tea, which was such a dream. Sitting there, watching people ride their bikes, was such a serene experience. We chose this location because we wanted peace and quiet, away from the noise. If you want to visit the city, it’s easy to order a Didi, and you’ll be there in just 10 minutes.
The only thing I wasn’t too fond of—though it’s likely out of their control—was the spider webs on the main window of our room (spider webs outside of the room not inside), but it’s surrounded by a lake so I’m wasn’t surprised. My husband loved it because he’s fascinated by insects, but I was a bit nervous. That said, the windows have insect screens, so nothing could get inside, which was a relief.
The breakfast was fantastic! It was a buffet with options like rice noodles, a variety of fruits, yogurts, and more. I would definitely come back to this amazing place!

HHui Yi (慧怡)I am sooo happy with my stay. Their service was probably the best out of every hotel I’ve stayed in. The owner was very very helpful. He was also really open to sharing where to go and tips to get around. Location wise, it’s a bit further from the main attraction but you get a quiet stay away from the bustling street which is also within walking distance. Walking around gave me a chance to appreciate the town a little more. Veryyyyy clean, owner checks in with you if you’d like your room to be cleaned via WeChat. Overall, it’s a warm little stay operated by a family~ will definitely be going back again!

DDuWhatuloveMy goal was to wake up every day and open my window and step outside and enjoy the view. I think I accomplished this staying here.
Area : It’s located in a village near the city center 20 minutes and about the same to the ancient town. It’s per dominantly a Muslim town , so you will find lots of BBQ and Halal eats. Also shops for simple basics are available. The town comes alive after 5:00 pm.
Food : You can order Weimai like McDonald’s and KFC for example, nothing western around. We got breakfast daily, as you can see it’s a set menu. But we enjoyed it , the options were plenty. Also, every afternoon they brought an afternoon snack , super nice and a great touch.
Room / Hygiene: The room we picked had the balcony, it was spacious the bed was comfortable. The stand alone bath was clean, and the bathrooms as well. Toiletries and slippers provided. The hotel can use some changing or cleaning of rugs and dust a bit on the corners. Over all it was good.
Transport : You need to get a taxi to go places , or take the bus. Not sure if it’s because it’s summer but getting a taxi was not very pleasant. I took the bus #2 in front of the village to go to the mall. Easy 2 RMB you can use your apple map.
Customer Service : The customer service was nice , the ladies were helpful in finding a place for COVID test. Our last day they arranged a driver , it was hard to get transportation.
Over all , it was a nice stay I only picked this hotel due to the view. If you want more action stay near the ancient town.

XxzlEste fue el mejor hotel que he permanecido durante mi viaje a Yunnan. El personal fue arriba y más allá, incluso me ayudó a llevar mi equipaje de 20kg+ arriba. El hotel tiene animales de compañía adorables y su ubicación es excelente. El calefactor de la habitación funcionó perfectamente, me mantuvo acogida durante el invierno. La habitación era limpia, espaciosa y bien mantenida. Aprecié también el servicio de lavandería gratuito con detergentes. Además, el asiento de baño caliente fue un toque pensable!
