Dalby Tourist Park

I stopped over in Dalby on Saturday 23/11/24 and found the Dalby Tourist Park. I was only there for one night as i was attending an Event just out of Town on Sunday. Right from the start the Couple running the park were like Family, friendly and full of suggestions to my questions. (food locations and directions)) There is absolutely no way that anyone could fault the Immaculate Facilities and cleanliness. I was given a grassy powered site with plenty of room each side. thank you, for a great place to stay.

Recently stayed for a week on a powered site with our caravan. This park does not cater for aged, disabled or vertically challenged (short) people. No disabled amenities and the regular toilet cubicles are too narrow to accommodate a walking frame. Also the amenities are closed for an hour each day for cleaning. No alternative, so if you need to go between 10.30 and 11.30 - bad luck! They only provide one industrial rubbish bin in the entire park. Quite high with a heavy lid, actually hurt my neck and shoulder trying to dispose of our rubbish (5 ft tall 70 year old female). Clothes lines are fixed, once again far too high for me to use. We asked for a grassed site and were given a site with road base gravel and sternly instructed that we couldn’t use an outdoor mat. All in all, a thoroughly disappointing stay. The worst we have experienced so far.

Sparkling presentation in every aspect of the park from booking to reception, cleanliness of amenities and manicured grounds. These guys are winning at hospitality. Whilst the bathroom of the ladies amenities may not be modern they are exceptionally well cared for and definitely cleaner than some newer facilities we have seen on our travels. Park is well located on the banks of Myall Creek and easy, level walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Stayed here previously. We will continue staying here. Well looked after the park. Great amenities are very clean. Bitumen long sites. Local pub next door. Great meals. Close to all shops, just a small nice walk next to Creek. Found water dragon at water edge. Sun baking.

5 ***** STARS! THIS PET FREINDLY PARK IS QUIET, CLEAN AND IMMACULATE! PRETTY RURAL SETTING BY RIVER! THE STAFF ARE SO FREINDLY, AND EVERYTHING IS CLOSE BY! AMMENTIES ARE EXCELLENT/CLEAN/MODERN. THE OWNERS & CARE TAKERS ARE JUST A BONUS ! OF MAKING YOU FEEL WELCOME! REGARDS DEB & PETE

I’m genuinely surprised at all the good reviews, as this was possibly the worst park I’ve ever stayed at. Our site was mere steps from the pub, which cranked out extremely loud music until the early hours of the morning, so we got virtually no sleep. We honestly may as well have been trying to sleep in the front row. There were also drunk noisy people walking past when the pub finally closed. We arrived after office hours and expected to pick up our amenities key from a lock box as we have done in countless places before, but there was nothing there and we were unable to contact the park managers that night. In the morning they told us that because we hadn’t paid, we didn’t get a key. Most accommodation providers call if you’re running late - we would have happily paid over the phone if we were given the chance. This left us with no way to access the toilets and showers. Luckily we had friends there whose key we could borrow, otherwise I truly don’t know what we would have done. Really cannot recommend this place.
