THE RUSTIC WATERING HOLE" 20 min to Chattanooga

I do not recommend staying here. There are no blinds or curtains in the downstairs main living room/kitchen area, we found roaches in the silverware drawer, pool is slimy, banister dry rotted, some planks in deck are mushy, bedrooms are dark and have an eerie feeling, and much more. The vegetation is overgrown and the fire pit and picnic table are covered in moss and don't appear to ever have been used. We left 2 days early and have had no response from the host. My sister and I are primitive campers so we are not bougie, but we do expect safety, especially when there is a lot of traffic on the road directly next to this place. The door/window does not lock AT ALL. What was real creepy is we noticed when leaving a bench in the woods where you could sit and have a perfect view of the activity inside this house since there are no blinds or curtains to the downstairs windows. Creepy! I think the pics says it all. This would work for a frat party or a bunch of fisherman, but no one else. Pass on this!!

The pictures made it look better than it was. The trees needed to be cut back and some repairs needed. It was not very clean and had roaches. Someone was walking around on the deck that leads inside to the house and the back room when we got back from town. She said she was checking the berries.

Nice vacation Cabin/House was close enough, 25 min drive to Chattanooga to be convenient. Had a few problems, but they were addressed quickly by hosts. Nice rustic get away.

Wish the pool was ready. The pool had a chemical reaction and we were unable to swim, however, Jerry made it right with us. He is very nice, talented, and we found him to be quiet pleasant.

Weekend getaway The kids and even us parents loved the pool during our stay! The only thing I missed while researching the home was the rooms are located in different parts of the home.

Great Weekend Getaway We had a great time. The property is rustic but felt like a beach bungalow. The pool was great but I would like to have dedicated stairs or a ladder to get out and in. Would definitely revommend if you need to unplug and relax.
