Firstly the place is pronounced Endoa locally The place is extremely quiet and feels unfinished with unfinished buildings around and a very long unsealed driveway full of giant potholes. There are no activities at all aside from the pool table which you have to pay for, and the pool and beach. We don't believe you can rent or borrow any gear for snorkelling or kayaking or anything like that. Beach towels and extra blankets are available if you ask (the rooms don't come with any. The snorkelling is really fantastic with a lot of beautiful coloured fish everywhere, however you probably should go at high tide as the water is shallow and the coral is quite high off the sand. There were many cats, and the usual toads around, and some puppies, horses and cows in neighbouring properties. The resort driveway is right across the road from a school and a factory where coconut wood furniture is made. The staff were relatively friendly but on the whole very subdued and quiet compared to what we have experienced elsewhere in Fiji. The reception staff had to keep asking a manager(?) hiding off to one side behind some glass everything. We never saw the manager as far as we know so that was a bit awkward. The complimentary breakfast is the Sunrise Breakfast and we all got it including our 2 year old son for free without any issues. It is 2 eggs, a drink, 2 pieces of butter and marmalade toast, 4 pieces of potato, and 2 pieces of fruit of the day. We also had dinner at the restaurant a lot. A few comments: The curry was great value for money (a lot of components), the fried rice was nice but v oily, the garlic bread is LITERALLY sliced bread. Sometimes they bring out complimentary hot bread rolls which is fabulous and makes a big difference to the overall experience. We found that quite often a component of your meal is forgotten so it pays to check everything arrives (E.g. fruit, salad etc). The one highchair was broken the entire time we were there. We had no issues with the $50 key bond being returned as credit off our final bill. The pool is remarkably clean however the pool tiles are falling off in droves and really need replacing. It makes the pool area look really unloved and the tiles are a hazard slipping in the bottom of the pool. External guests are allowed to come to Yadua but ironically are unable to use the pool... We found the pool much colder than the beach. There is also a toddler pool. There is quite a good little convenience store down the end of the road that is worth checking out for snacks, bread, drinks, etc. They sell some limited snorkelling gear and souvenirs too. There is a Mexican themed cafe there too but we found the value for money was better at Yaduas restaurant.
