Wonderful stay as usual lovely staff who anlways make you feel welcome .The food is amazing especially the steaks.. Everything is consistently good whenever we stay. The view from our room was spectacular and always feels like coming home when we come back to Criccieth come rain or shine.

We had a super stay, our Executive Room was clean, well appointed and had a super bay view. We dined in the restaurant one night where we found the food to be excellent. The breakfast was first class with a varied choice to suit most tastes. The only small complaint was the orange juice which had a very weird flavour.

I think the Caewylan is outstanding. A smart hotel which feels like home is quite an achievement, The staff are caring and yet professional The food is delicious The situation is convenient and the views superb. The rooms are spotlessly clean.

We stayed for one night as we were visiting my brother in a care home. We were amazed at the standards of this hotel, staff, food, room, the hotel itself ,decor all in good order. Ok the parking is lacking but the staff told us what to do and it was fine The evening meal was perfect and I unfortunately am a fussy eater, the breakfast a full English was just that, full. A pot of tea in Welsh looking pot for me and poached eggs and coffee for my wife all served by caring and attentive staff. We begrudgingly left this hotel to drive home. This was our first stay in a hotel in the UK for many a year and wow what a surprise. These package holiday hotels could learn a lot from this hotel. A big thank you to all at the Caerlwylan hotel ,you helped us enjoy our visit to see my poorly brother.

We had a wonderful week here. The panoramic sea view from our room (24) was stunning. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Abigail and Gwyn on reception. Nothing was too much trouble.

Got to Criccieth late afternoon and greeted with a warm welcome. We went to the room that was a good size, well presented with a contemporary look and spotless. We had a good night's sleep. There was a good choice for breakfast which was very nice and good quality. Saturday afternoon we had a few drinks in the bar. There was good selection of drinks including local beers and spirits. During our 2 night stay we were welcomed by all the staff and we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed 5 years ago and I can't believe it taken 5 years to return. We will be visiting again soon.

If you're planning on staying in the lovely town of Criccieth this is THE place to stay. Superb hotel. Gorgeous position, very clean throughout, great staff. Hard to pick out any particular member of staff for a mention but Callie gave us a Welsh lesson whilst quietly looking after us in the Tonnae restaurant, Haf gave us 'fun' service in the same and Abigail on reception was exceptional. She made the booking so, so easy and answered all our questions in a friendly, non-patronising way.

A most friendly and warm welcome upon arrival at the Caerwylan. The bedroom and bathroom were both spotlessly clean and well presented. Wonderful views from the bedroom to enjoy. A huge factor of the Caerwylan is the staff. They are all very friendly, welcoming and willing to engage with guests. They always have a smile to give you. Housekeeping staff work really hard to maintain the high standards of care and cleanliness with the bedroom and public areas. They have a hard job and deserve recognition. I regularly thanked them. We have booked to visit again in September. I would certainly recommend this Hotel for its high standards and exceptional staff.
