Poor experience will not be revisiting. Extremely poor hygiene and customer service false and non genuine. Customer service could be better repeated the rehearsed welcome speech, another guest asked for a room change due to room noise next door. Which they happily facilitated. We were offered a ground floor room, stated we'd prefer not to be on the ground floor. Hostess said no more rooms are available, when you revisit request not to be on the ground. This obviously was a lie as after entering the first room offered and discovered it had not been cleaned, we were promptly relocated.
The second was not much cleaner, and the bathroom floor was covered in water, from the previous occupant's who had used. How do we know, upon using the shower the seal on the bottom had gone, causing water to spray all over the floor. The bathroom door also locked itself, so we had to call for it to be opened. They were not surprised as it regularly happens.
The mattresses are mismatch, we had a firm and soft mattress attached together, which was really uncomfortable to lay on as there was a distinct hard ridge in the middle of the bed. Alongside that you can't sleep with the window open as the traffic from the M5 will keep you up all night. Luckily and probably the most positive thing l can say, the windows were good at blocking the noise.
I don't recommend you look under the bed as dust and feathers are all over it. House keeping came, did no cleaning but offered two new towels.
As for the restaurant which they are quick to book you into. Overpriced bland food with no attention to presentation. Customer service remains poor there also. I question the hygiene there to, as my partner and myself were both sick shortly after eating there.
Overall the whole experience was poor value for money.
Pictures attached show the dirty toilet, shaving clippings in the sink, and coffee spills on the surface. They didn't even clean the spoon resting in the cup. Such a disappointment.
