Craigbank Guest House

We stayed in the junior suite for 2 nights and it was fantastic. Colin and Veronica are so helpful and friendly they are amazing hosts. The room had it's own fridge and separate seating area. The bed was a king-size and comfortable. The bathroom has a bath which was a nice change from just a shower. There is also a lounge area downstairs for guests. You could either have a continental or a cooked breakfast. As we stayed 2 nights we had the continental one day and the cooked the next both were very good. The views are amazing even in the rain. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for next year

Perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect B&B We give Veronica and Colin a 15 out of 10 for their friendly and very sincere welcome plus all the little extras and attention to detail they provide that makes your stay with them extra special. Their breakfast is superb and Veronica prides herself on her Continental Breakfast and she does a fabulous spread. It is so good! The bed, linen and toiletries are all high quality which adds to the charm and warmth of this special time with them. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Came as guests...left as friends If your looking for a warm genuine welcome where nothing is too much trouble then look no further, other than to make a note of their number. We have been to many hotels and guests houses during our lifetime, however never met a couple's hosting ability like Veronica and Collins. From the moment their door opens you are greeted with 2 beaming smiles and a warm welcome. On entering you are instantly taken care of which is really appreciated after a long drive. You are shown and orientated to your room with all the important features highlighted such as breakfast room and menus, ensuite bathroom and refreshments all of which allows you to relax and start to unwind, just like you would if you were kicking back at home. Both Veronica and Collin have extensive knowledge of the area and share it generously with you. They intuitively direct you to what restaurants are available that evening, which is extremely valuable especially towards the end of the season. Even though you could be staying in a full guesthouse, the experience Veronica and Collin provides you with makes you feel like your the only ones there. You almost feel surprised in seeing other guests at breakfast. This must be because the other guests are so well catered for (by the hosts) you just don't hear them until you see them at breakfast the next day. We have had the pleasure in coming to Craig Bank Guest house for a number of years now and Veronicas and Collins consistent high standards in every aspect of hospitality means we have found our 'traveling home'. We know that in spending a night here we are guaranteed a good night's sleep, waking up feeling refreshed, washed with a full tum ready for the onward journey. Veronica and Collin are an amazing duo who take such pride in their work and genuinely care about your stay. Other establishments both large and small could learn alot from these guys as they seam to get a lot of repeat custom, which suggests to me it's in how they execute their delivery...leaving people wanting more. Nevermind X factor these people have the 'Unique Factor' thank you both for the most amazing stays and we will look forward to many more in our 'traveling home'.

After a tough 22 miles along the West Highland Way, the final 5 miles in driving rain, we were so grateful for the super-friendly welcome we received from Colin and Veronica. The premises are spotless and tastefully decorated. Recommended

We arrived with the rain hammering down around us and received a wonderful warm welcome! Veronica and Colin were wonderful hosts with tips for local eating, drying our clothes and a marvellous breakfast too. Our room was excellent and had everything we needed. Would not hesitate to book again!

Veronica and Colin are very welcoming smiling hosts, who did everything perfectly. Their house is particularly clean and pretty (the rooms have recently been redecorated, you can tell). The breakfast was very tasty, in a pleasant conservatory. We could easily park the car along the house. The guest house is situated at a walking distance to pubs and restaurants.

My son and I stayed here after a really hard stretch of the West Highland Way. Fantastic guest house, possibly the best we’ve stayed in, the room and en suite were spotlessly clean, the beds very comfy and the breakfast superb. Veronica and Colin were very welcoming. Well worth 5 stars and would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the craigbank guesthouse sadly for only 1 night. The hosts were absolutely lovely, the house and room spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable a good night's sleep was had. The breakfast the following morning was very good, all freshly cooked and tasty. We wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

Best service ever! Super friendly and incredibly kind people! We hiked the WHW and they welcomed us kindly and even dried our hiking boots over night for us. We were server breakfast in our rooms and it was delicious 😋 I would gladly stay there again!
