Premier Inn Gatwick Crawley Town West

I wish I read the reviews before booking our stay. As what other reviewers say, just don't book when in summer as the rooms are literlly like sleepingin a furnace. Our room was 34ºc from 6 to 12pm. Doesn't that breach H&S in a public space?? We must have lost 5 litres just in sweat! C'mon Premier Inn just put in some aircon and the hotel would be perfect!

Great room, comfortable bed, reasonable shower, good breakfast, free parking and quiet, Just avoid when the weather gets hot! Yes a couple of fans are provided, but even with the extra one I brought with me it was like sleeping in a sauna.

The room on the 2nd floor was 31degrees C when we entered just after 19.30hrs At 07.00 hrs the next morning the temperature had reduced to 30 degrees C. Unbearable to sleep the night before my daughter's wedding locally. Obviously, PI had identified the issue and provided 2No portable fans! Blowing 30degree C air around a room doesn't make it cooler or comfortable. There is a need for air-conditioning units or chillers at certain times of the year.

We’ve used this hotel lots of times for flights down to Nice. In February. It’s handy for APH airport parking. The staff were great on this visit. They were helpful and efficient . We ate an evening meal here and the food was good and served quickly. Reason for the lower score. NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was like a sauna on the second floor. All the fan did was push air around and the room remained at 29 degrees all night. Impossible to sleep. Why the hell don’t Premier Inn put in air con as standard. We just won’t stay in their hotels in the future. It’s like the Dark Ages. You’re going to lose us as customers for sure. Hotel shabby and in need of updating. This company is resting on its laurels. Staff are busting a gut to give good service and the hotels themselves are just not good enough. The company management needs to kick up the rear as it’s totally inadequate. GET AIR CONDITIONING in ALL your hotels NOW.

Approximately a 7 minute walk from Gatwick’s North Terminal. Just follow the footpath round to the Shell petrol station and the Premier Inn is located right next to it. The room was lovely and clean with a nice shower and decent sized bathroom. We had a family room with 2 people extra single beds. I wish the room had air conditioning. We had the window open as it was hot and there was a lot of noise from the main road. You could also hear a lot of noise from the comings and goings during all hours. I didn’t have a good lights sleep due to this but the bed was comfortable. We had the meal deal. Lovely dinner and nice selection of breakfast.

This was one of the few Premier Inn rooms that we have stayed in that actually had an opening window! Unfortunately though it was impossible to sleep with the window open as the room overlooked the main A23 dual carriageway which was extremely noisy. The heater control on the room wall was exactly that; it only heated the room and did not have the ability to cool it. The result was a room which stayed at a fairly constant 26 degrees, and this led to a very poor nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent and the location is perfect for Gatwick. Shame about the hot room though. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I could guarantee a room on the opposite side and away from the main road.
