We really enjoy staying in hotels with a history - and the St. Eugene delivered, in spades. I hope to stay there again; unfortunately, we were just passing through this time around. Our room (412) in the Mission Building did not disappoint. It was spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved the many authentic touches they maintained, such as the checkered tile in the bathroom. The king size bed was just to my liking, not too hard or soft, with top shelf linens and a good selection of pillow types from which to choose. We were able to open the windows and let in the night air. The view was serene and peaceful. I slept like a baby. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the Mission Building was closed that Monday evening, but we had a very satisfactory meal in the 19th Hole Bar and Grill. There was a Keurig with coffee and tea pods in our room, which we enjoyed before setting off early. Things to know: in addition to a small ******, this resort has a picturesque golf course - with a pretty active tee schedule. A Blind Golfers tournament was underway during our stay. There is a pool, sauna, relaxation tubs, and fitness center. In addition to the many art pieces on display, there is an Interpretive Center run by the Ktunaxa Nation with guided tours of the Center and the hotel building. Note: We had to carry our bags; to avoid the stairs at the front of the Mission Building, one needs to use the entrance on the Lodge side. The step-in bathtub shower had a grab bar. I understand that the rooms in the Lodge building have more accessible features. There were enough outlets and the wifi was great.

This was our second time staying here in the last 3 months. O’Neil at the front desk remembered us and once again provided a great check-in experience. The rooms are updated and modern, and most importantly, extremely clean. We were in room 202 this trip, which had two twin beds in a separate room as well as a beautiful full kitchen. Perfect for a travelling family. Highly recommend and will be staying here again.
