Nice views, lovely architecture, the two hot tubs very nice!

My husband and I recently stayed at St. Eugene and absolutely loved it. Check in was very smooth and the staff was very nice. Our room was large, spacious, and clean. After spending double the amount for a very small, old hotel in Radium that was a ¼ of the size, this was such a nice change. We loved exploring the property and reading about the history. It is a beautiful place. We enjoyed a trip to the pool as we had just had a long, hot journey on a motorbike to the hotel. The pool water was a bit dirty but it was late in the day on a very hot day and the pool was filled with a lot of people (mainly children) so it was not surprising and not that bad. Upon check in we had asked for recommendations for supper and were told that the prime rib dinner in the ****** was good. It was amazing. A little pricy at $30 a plate, but it also came with a $10 game credit, so the price was actually only $20. Our biggest disappointment (and the reason I have not given 5 stars) was the restaurant at the pro-shop. We had taken a seat and waited for 15 minutes before we even received our drinks - coffee and water. The temperature on the patio was climbing so we decided to move inside where it was a bit cooler. We watched numerous people come in, eat and leave and we didn't even see our waitress. When we asked how much longer, as we wanted to get on the road before the heat got too intense, her response was "Oh - do you have a tee time?" Finally, after an hour, we told her don't bother. We are leaving. We then found out that our breakfast had not even been started at that point. She knew that we were not happy as when we went to pay for our coffee, she comped it. The A&W was more than happy to make us breakfast and take our money. We definitely will be back but will avoid the pro shop.

I was sent an emailed bill for a late check-out that was more than double the cost I was quoted (they said I'd be charged $35, but I was charged $80). The reception desk said they couldn't help me and the service manager hasn't answered my emails after more than a week. It's not even the money but the lack of transparency and the total lack of customer service that bother me.

We really enjoy staying in hotels with a history - and the St. Eugene delivered, in spades. I hope to stay there again; unfortunately, we were just passing through this time around. Our room (412) in the Mission Building did not disappoint. It was spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved the many authentic touches they maintained, such as the checkered tile in the bathroom. The king size bed was just to my liking, not too hard or soft, with top shelf linens and a good selection of pillow types from which to choose. We were able to open the windows and let in the night air. The view was serene and peaceful. I slept like a baby. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the Mission Building was closed that Monday evening, but we had a very satisfactory meal in the 19th Hole Bar and Grill. There was a Keurig with coffee and tea pods in our room, which we enjoyed before setting off early. Things to know: in addition to a small ******, this resort has a picturesque golf course - with a pretty active tee schedule. A Blind Golfers tournament was underway during our stay. There is a pool, sauna, relaxation tubs, and fitness center. In addition to the many art pieces on display, there is an Interpretive Center run by the Ktunaxa Nation with guided tours of the Center and the hotel building. Note: We had to carry our bags; to avoid the stairs at the front of the Mission Building, one needs to use the entrance on the Lodge side. The step-in bathtub shower had a grab bar. I understand that the rooms in the Lodge building have more accessible features. There were enough outlets and the wifi was great.

I enjoyed our recent stay at St Eugene. The property itself is very attractive, on a golf course about 10 minutes out of town and the site of a former residential school (considerably renovated). We are neither golfers nor ****** goers, but chose this hotel because of the good reviews. We were happy with our rooms which were large and well appointed with a high end coffee machine and a small balcony. My one criticism was that the place itself is labyrinthine and we had a very difficult time finding the swimming pool (poorly marked). Once we finally found it we discovered the pool towels are tiny and thin, certainly not what one would expect. And there are no bath robes so one has to go through the hotel lobby in one's clothes & change in the changing rooms, which is an inconvenience. We ate at the less expensive of the 2 restaurants which is located on the ****** floor. The menu there was very limited and the atmosphere lacking - not recommended. No doubt the other restaurant is much better, but we didn't try it out. Nonetheless we had a good stay at St Eugene and it certainly felt like a holiday being there in beautiful surroundings.

When we got there the first bed, we saw a dirty napkin underneath the pillow. We called housekeeping they came up and changed the bedding. And then at 10:00 PM I went to get in bed and there was a dirty napkin in between the sheets we called down to front desk. There was no answer, we left a message and nobody returned our message. We ended up going to the housekeeping area to get new clean sheets and change the bed ourselves. Next day went to front desk I asked them did you get our message about the dirty beds? and they just said oh we’re sorry. And gave us a $30 gift card for any restaurant. when you pay over $300 for two nights you expected at least have clean beds. We will not be going there again.

4 day golf extravaganza. Beautiful course. Too many geese on the front 9 leaving lots of droppings but otherwise the stay was incredible. Great staff and amazing scenery. Highly recommend. Stayed in the New building. Clean and comfortable. Numa restaurant is fantastic.

Loved my stay. Everyone was lovely, kind, genuine, and easy to talk to. Front desk staff went above and beyond. The food and service at Numa was excellent. I appreciated the outdoor pools, the location and privacy. The interpretive centre is a gift and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn more about Ktunaxa culture from Ktunaxa community members (thank you Jordan) and knowledge keepers and I look forward to attending the Wednesday guided tour next visit. Thank you again! I cannot wait to return. I highly recommend St. Eugene Golf Resort & ******!

Was a great celebratory 75th birthday dinner. Friendly greeting by the hostess and quickly seated. Server was also excellent and delivered our drink order in timely fashion. Ordered the Wagu burger, a seafood dish( cod I think) and my wife and I had the Chicken Wellington share dish. Plating and presentation was impressive and all very much enjoyed our meals. Was an excellent milestone Birthday dinner and we again extend our compliments to the chef and service staff. You guys added to a very enjoyable day. Highly recommend
