A hotel that’s perfect for public transportation and by car: it’s this. On the square opposite Coventry Rail Station along the main road with drop off access. Part of the IHG brand, the hotel is stuffed with modern, quirky colourful decor including a silver open top Austin Healy in the reception area. The ground floor is one big open space that navigates from lobby to bar to restaurant/breakfast area and an exit where the outdoors semi enclosed seating area is. It’s Britain, so no heaters or covers but it’s an acceptable smoking area! Upon checking in we received a 20% voucher off all the F&B which doesn’t happen often. The kitchen was closed by 9 but we and our friends enjoyed a drink in the bar area. The room was super lovely, all brand new, super clean and nicely decorated. Personalised smart TV but the smart function didn’t work alas! Overall: a wonderful experience!

El hotel, además de su ubicación (en el campus de la Universidad de Warwick), es como un Premier Inn o un hotel de este tipo. Un comentario para cualquiera que camine desde el campus al hotel: no hay acceso directo desde la Plaza Arts Centre. Tienes que caminar todo el camino alrededor de la escuela de negocios para acceder al parque de coches. Estaba muy incómodo en la lluvia como añadió a 5 minutos a pie. La habitación era espaciosa y limpia, aunque el baño estaba cerrado cuando me ingresé. La segunda noche se salió la audiencia; el mantenimiento de la casa trajo un pequeño radiador de calefacción... sin embargo, no vino ningún reparador. La comida era de calidad de la cafetería (tanto el desayuno como la sala de cenas). En general, recomendaría un hotel diferente por el precio, y tomar un camión al campus.

We stayed at Ansty Hall while attending a friends wedding. Staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable.

I’ve stayed here before not a problem,but this time was terrible I stayed in the car park 1 hours thought they’d made a mistake on the booking the hotel looked like a demolition site no sign of entrance or reception very disappointing,gave me a disability room which I refused to stay in at a different hotel , I think the manager was Richard who helped us get a different room he was very friendly but the room was in lower ground smelling of sewage in hallway’s and damp in the room ,we both suffer with asthma and anxiety , all the lady staff was very polite and welcoming but I don’t want to stay here again

Excellent accomodation, very helpful and friendly staff from check in to leaving. The room was quiet, warm, clean, and a lovely size, although, the shower door is a slide door, and I am a larger person, so it was a little close climbing in and out, but plenty of room once in. Toiletries are provided. The TV was a bit of a nuisance as there was a bit of signal issues, causing the programmes to stutter. Breakfast is served from 8.00, an all you can eat buffet for just £7, bargain. Food was piping hot and very fresh. Fruit juice, tea and coffee readily available. There are no tea making facilities in the room, but for the price of a room I think it would not be cost effective to provide this, however, you can easily get complimentary tea/coffee from the bar throughout the day and evening. Speaking with the management on this subject, it was suggested that they were considering a possible drinks package that could be pre booked at a small extra cost if the individual required it. This may work. There is ample parking, but there are also about 4 buses an hour travelling to the city centre, a day ticket would save a fortune. All in all, having spent a lot of the past year staying at a much pricier hotel further up the road, (I paid less for 3 nights here compared to 1 night at my usual hotel), I would recommend The Wyken Inn to anybody. I certainly wasn't disappointed, and I will be using them again.

Efficient for the check-in , £5 was paid for the parking. It was easy for the drivers to find the actual location on the map, therefore I would say it is convenient to reach. What I like about the room is that the design of the room is reasonable and fully functional. The mattress was a bit hard but it is fine for me. Besides, it is seldom to see that the stool is separated from the shower, which is quite considerable. We enjoyed the stay.
