Hotel Walser

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of August prior to a UTMB event. The hotel was a short walk from the town and only a 2 minute walk if arriving by bus. The good bits. Staff were super friendly and would go out of their way to accommodate you. The aperitivo between 5pm and 8pm was a lovely touch and much better than most of the nearby bars…and free (not subsidised through drinks prices). The highlight for this hotel was the garden area, which was a nice place to chill out before going out for dinner or for a drink at the end of the night. Never too busy, but a nice vibe and good background music. Drinks were reasonably priced. Rooms were clean, tidy and a decent size. Shower pressure was good. Things to note. Our room was at the front of the property overlooking the dual carriageway. We knew this beforehand but it was 24° (felt hotter) and stuffy when we stayed. With no air-con, we had to sleep with the windows open and the traffic noise was a pain on some nights, although the hotel do provide ear plugs. Rooms would benefit from being modernised. The breakfast was average at best. Overall, we feel the hotel deserves 5 stars based on relative value for the area and its 3 star status. There are two ‘5 star’ hotels in town but having visited both… not sure either are worth paying the extra for.

This hotel is in a convenient location to town, near to the bus station. Our room was well appointed, clean and the breakfast was substantial. Staff were very helpful. It is close to an overpass but not noisy. Would recommend for a short stay.

This hotel is a gem. Nothing but great review from us. Rooms were clean and of ample size with a balcony to sit outside. The hotel is quiet for sleeping. Staff were incredibly helpful and took time to help us figure out transportation. The breakfast was substantial and really yummy. If you head to Courmayeur you might want to stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Walser. My room was ready right when I arrived, which was most welcome after a long overseas trip. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. The staff was warm, helpful, and friendly. I also enjoyed the breakfast. The location is great - very close to everything you need yet still very quiet. I look forward to staying at Hotel Walser again!

We stayed at Hotel Walser while we visited Courmayeur for the Gran Trail Courmayeur 2022. Good food and coffee and a very cosy mood in the beautiful surroundings. The hotel is filled with little funny detailsalg and stuff from the Aosta Valley. The staff is very attentative and smiling. We will definitely be coming back.

Hotel caratteristico stile chalet camera confortevole e spaziosa staff molto cordiale ci hanno accolto.con un caloroso benvenuto informandoci di come muoverci e cosa vedere la colazione e molto abbondante varia e di qualità vi è la possibilità di un aperitivo in giardino molto carino

Questo hotel è al massimo del suo splendore, i giovani gestori stanno facendo davvero un ottimo lavoro. Oltre all'essenziale ci sono una serie di particolari che rendono l'ambiente particolarmente gradevole La hall curatissima in tutti i dettagli e dalla vista spettacolare ha sempre una musica di sottofondo scelta con cura. La sera puoi godere di ottimi drink sapientemente preparati, ma anche una buona tisana. Gli oggetti, classici e di design, sono in tutto l'albergo. Le camere, molto semplici ma curate, sono molto pulite. Camere con vista spettacolare, purtroppo vicino alla strada ma con le finestre chiuse non disturbiamo il sonno. D'altronde essere così in centro e lontano dalle strade principali non è possibile :). Alla reception si alternano i gestori molto disponibili anche a proporre itinerari per gite più o meno impegnative. Vorrei sottolineare l'impronta green non ostentata ma assolutamente visibile a chi è attento: no plastica dove si può evitare, invito a non sprecare, invito a non cambiare troppo spesso gli asciugamani. Colazione buona e varia nella quantità giusta, avrei gradito molto del buon pane integrale di quello tradizionale valdostano, ma tutto ciò che c'è è sufficiente per ogni palato. Grazie per l'accoglienza torneremo.

Hotel molto carino, vicino al centro pedonale/storico, camere ok, con tutto il necessario, colazione varia e con prodotti buoni, personale alla reception e in sala colazione gentile e disponibile alle nostre richieste . Ci torneremo sicuramente .

L'hotel e' in ottima posizione e si presenta accogliente,camera senza infamia e senza lode, da migliorare l'insonorizzlazione. Colazione ok, personale di salla gemtile e disponibile. La TV non finzionionava, era rptta e il perspnale non si e' accorto: per il mancato servizio hanno frettolosamente chiesto scusa ma per aver lasciato la camera 1 ora dopo il check out (abbiamo chiesto e lo sapevamo) farci pagare 20€ (ogni mezz'ora di checl out rimandato sono 10€) sembra eccessivo soprattutto perche', ripeto, potevano venirci incontro per non aver potuto usifruire della televisione a causa della loro superficialitla' (superficialota' dimemticata quando si tratta di far pagare).
