Caisleain Oir Hotel

Stayed last night for a family event nearby. Good value rate with genuinely warm and personal service. The hotel was heavily booked and I was fortunate to get an upgrade to a Suite complete with a jacuzzi bath. The place had good food, a lovely breakfast this morning, and beautiful seaside views. Highly recommended. If I ever get the chance to return I will.

I recently stayed at the Caisleain Oir Hotel for one night with a friend in a twin room, and from start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. Upon arrival, the reception staff greeted us warmly, making us feel instantly welcome. When we got to our room, we were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and well-appointed it was. The two large king-sized beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless, complete with a stylish and modern bathroom. After freshening up, we headed down to the restaurant, where both the service and the food exceeded our expectations. The dining area was inviting and comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. One of the highlights of the stay was trying their house-brewed beer—they now make their own, and the IPA I had was excellent. Later in the evening, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the bar before retiring for the night. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, with delicious food and attentive service. If you're looking for warm Donegal hospitality in a beautiful location, paired with excellent food and great service, I highly recommend the Caisleain Oir Hotel. I would happily stay here again!

This hotel more than fulfilled all our wish list for an enjoyable and relaxing break. The hotel is very clean; the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The staff were all warmly welcoming, and friendly at all times. The food in the bar was tasty and the breakfasts served to one's liking taking all preferences into consideration. We will most definitely be using this hotel again. It is a good base to explore lots of great places in this part of Donegal; a county that has an infinite amount of hidden gems.

From check in to check out we had an amazing stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and we had a quiet night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Dinner in the bar/snug was amazing and probably the best we've had on a 3 week tour of Ireland. Breakfast was equally as good and table service friendly and efficient. Bought some of the craft beers brewed there and can't fault them. Location is stunning. Highly recommend

We had our wedding last week at Caisleain Oir, and it was the best day of our lives. James and Michelle are at the top of their game and just an absolute pleasure to deal with. The food was incredible, the team are incredible, professional but also great fun! We had so much fun! The hotel is beautiful, the setting is stunning. If you are thinking of getting married, I could not recommend Caisleain Oir more. We can’t thank you all enough. The best I do Crew out there. 😘

A return visit to this hotel. Initially there was a slight hiccup with my booking but Michelle at reception eventually got things sorted, great customer focus and definitely an asset to have working there. For us a great location, nice food and bar entertainment etc Good size and clean rooms. I'm sure we'll return again.
