Hotel Table

It used to be a very nice hotel, but it is not anymore. Reception- management very rude and unkind. Other personal very helpful and friendly. Have to stay on the line for breakfast and dinner. Lack of food options.. Room was super clean. Location as always nice. No longer pastry shop in a lounge area.

Worst service ever!! The waitress was very rude!! We visited the cafe. I asked for ice cream and told her that I am allergic to nuts. So I asked whether the vanilla ice-cream was kept separately from nut ice-creams and cannot be contaminated. She said yes. Then my friend's ice cream that was vanilla and hazelnut came and it had some purple colour on it (so some contamination). I went inside and saw that vanilla was next to hazelnut in open containers. I told her that I cannot have this because it could be easily contaminated. She started yelling and saying that they clean the spoon and I tried to explain that I since the boxes are open some ice cream can drop on the other. She started yelling that they already prepared the ice-cream and now they will put it in the trash. And the bartender joined in. I don't believe these people. Have they ever had any hospitality training. Do they even know what this is?

The title says it all!!! What an amazing hotel..... full stop. To get the boring bits over with first:we had a standard room which was spacious, well equipped with good quality furnishings, comfy beds and individual duvets, large bathroom with combined shower/bath, toilet, bidet and sink......and spotlessly clean. The location is great for popping to the shops etc, and there's ample free parking. However, what makes this hotel so good is the genuine care that every member of staff has for their guests. From quite superb communication prior to our stay, to the warm welcome and efficient check in on arrival, everything is done to make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. The ski bus service is beyond doubt the best I've ever experienced......available on demand with no more than a five minute wait regardless of whether you're being picked up from the rental shop, ski lift, or hotel. Both drivers greet you with a smile and carry your equipment to and from the bus for you......nothing is too much for them. The fact that you can't ski in/out from the hotel makes no difference at all. I'm always a little wary of halfboard and hotel food, but the chef at the hotel really knows his stuff......its the first time I've ever asked to say thank you in person as it was so good. Four courses each night starting with anti pasti from an exceptional buffet, followed by three choices for each of the next two courses. Always a vegetarian choice which was so good that I noticed guests choosing it regardless. Every dish for the whole week was of a standard several stars higher than advertised, and complemented by a waiting staff that were quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I have to give a special mention to Alessandra who is a real star, explaining dishes with an infectious enthusiam in at least two languages. Oh and if you have young children with you, don't worry because they offer simpler kid friendly dishes as well! When you're done skiing for the day you can relax in either the amazingly well equipped spa or go for coffee/cakes/drinks in the bar area at the front of the hotel. Finally...the best example I can give of the exceptional lengths that the people at this hotel go to is when my ski boots were mistakenly taken by another guest. As soon as I told the front desk that my boots were missing they sparing into action with someone replaying the CCTV while the owner took me to the ski rental shop to hire me a pair for the day.......at the hotel's cost. Within 20 minutes I was back at the hotel ready to ski when the guest with my boots returned in the ski bus somewhat red faced! Amazing value, amazing location, amazing people......dont look any further!
