Nature Hotel Delta

My husband and I arrived on December 16 after a 12 hour journey. We are 73 and 76, so we were a bit tired. The greeting was perfunctory to say the least. Everything was in shut down including the bar and we were desperate for a cuppa. So we made one in our room but there was no milk. I went to reception and was given some milk in a glass, the receptionist seemed bemused why we needed milk but we were given some in a glas, no jug available. At 7 pm we went to the bar for a pre dinner drink The young man serving us was lovely . However he was very quickly being told off very firmly by the man who runs the dining room , It appears he shouldn't have been serving us but should have been serving in the dining room He did leave and so the bar was unattended! The man who runs the dining room continued to be very grumpy and unfriendly when was sat down to dinner ! My husband enjoyed the food and his meat and fish courses looked lovely Unfortunately it was a different story for me. On the first night I thought I would be OK as the salad buffet was really nice, but the following 3 nights the same leftover salads and cold griddled vegetables were presented. What hAd been a crispy shredded lettuce and seed salad became a tasteless soggy offering by the third night as were the cold griddled veg with congealed cheese on them. The non vegetarians were given new snack meat and fish offerings. Sadly the Mail vegetarian courses I found inedible Gnocchi which was served as too large soggy dumplings( half of my family are Italian, I know what Gnocchi should look and taste like) worst of all a so called vegetable casserole which was a thick soup like group with no recognisable veg in it with boiled rice and grains in the middle. I looked around the room and other people were not eating this nor did they eat the slab of tasteless aubergine with a smear of tomato sauce on top. I could go on ! Unfortunately on the third day I had a recurrence of some symptoms I had following cancer treatment and we decided to cut short our visit by 4 days Had this been a friendlier place with decent food I may have been able to continue our stay but I was not able to eat the food and I was spooked by the lack of Service . This is supposed to be a family run hotel but I don't know who they are.! We have been Skiing for 40 years and I have never leafy a bad review This place is impersonal and uncaring My husband explained my health issue to them and they couldn't care less and when we left we didn't even get a Have a good journey. We hadn't complained or asked for anything. Two years ago we stayed in Ortisei at the Hotel Angelo Engel which was amazing If travelling to the dolomites I recommend you go there. As for me I will be back to Lech in Austria next year They are so welcoming there.

A great hotel for two and a family. Small, modern, run by owners you meet every day. Nice, helpful staff. Great food - the chef tries to make it diverse, interesting and tasty - and dinner often resembles a visit to a fancy restaurant. The SPA zone includes three saunas, a terrace and a relaxation room. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent location of the hotel with a beautiful view of the valley. For skiers - which was especially important for me - a great convenience is a modern ski room, from which you go straight to a small bus provided by the hotel. The hotel bus is the whole story - it works all the time. you don't have to wait longer than 1-5 minutes to get to the slope (which takes half a minute to reach). And you are picked up from the slope - when you need it - you just call the driver and in a few minutes you will be transported straight to the hotel ski room. And the whole thing is complemented by an always smiling and helpful driver. The view of the valley from the hotel is also a big plus. I am attaching photos. In a word, I can't wait for my next visit to this place.

Very comfortable room. Super bathroom. We had a room at the rear of the hotel, 211, so not the amazing views of the mountains, but lovely all the same, great storage and large. So so quiet. The hotel has a shuttle service to the slopes and you can walk into the town. It is just outside the main village. All winter walks are marked. Everything is very well finished and the service is extremely good. The wellness suite on the 3rd floor is an added bonus. Loved it.

We came a group of cyclists for a week stay for cycling in the Dolomite area. Nice, clean rooms, perfect view, extremely good, personal and pleasant service, good breakfast and good dinner. Nice sauna and relax area. I spent a nice week with my daughter at this hotel in 2016, came back with friends now, and very satisfied again. Can fully recommend this.

Con una coppia di amici abbiamo soggiornato per qualche giorno presso questa struttura. Personale molto disponibile e professionale (un super grazie al signor Antonio in sala. Bravissimo, gentilissimo ed efficientissimo), struttura pulita, tranquilla. Ottimo nonché indispensabile il pulmino sempre a disposizione per portare gli ospiti sulle piste che distano 500mt
