This property has been recently remodeled. This property does have the USA Today newspaper The 1st floor is on the lower level, and requires an elevator to get to. The entrance, desk, indoor pool, and breakfast area are on the second floor. This property has a large breakfast serving area, and a large eating area. The breakfast Hostesses very friendly. Our room had; a very small refrigerator, no clock, no alarm clock, the phone had no cord and did not work, and the thermostat on the wall did not work controlling the a/c - heater by the window. The internet speed was; download of speed 12.3 and upload speed of 11.6. About 1/3 of superior Motel properties that has 30 plus speeds. There is NO parking (other than Handicapped) near the front door, and it is a bit of a walk to car parking. There is a very popular restaurant very close, next door. I believe many of the restaurant guests were using the Hampton Inn parking that was on that side of the Hotel. The I-80 entrance ramp is under construction; therefore if you wish to go West on I-80, you need to go East on I-80 two miles, take the exit, cross over and then go West. This property has the potential to be an "Outstanding" property; but presently the desk staff, housekeeping staff, and maintenance staff are lacking a lot of "Attention to details" around the property. It starts with the first impression by the desk clerk who did not know her job properly and was not friendly, and all the items that were missing or not working in the room, and items in the lobby bath room that need attention of being fixed! With all that said, this is still a better than average Hampton Inn.
